Go anywhere but here. Take your truck to a small local parts shop as it’s money way better spent there. Please do understand your experience can vary location to location and from sales person to sales person. I got my truck done in Colorado and had a fantastic experience. Moved back here and had a terrible customer service experience.

I worked with Adam Chavathong here in Oakland. This guys played the protypical salesman role and absolutely screwed me on pricing and rates. This guy got me to spend 180$ extra my first time in because I had some squeaking so they could figure out where the squeaking came from. Not that big of a deal but he promised me and gave me his word that if I ordered in the part before a month he would make my service free of charge and take care of me as a customer. Fast forward to 2 weeks later and I have the parts ordered in. I email him again and this guy has like zero recollection of him working with me. He tries to charge me basically 550$ to get everything done. On top of this I call the shop 2 or 3 times asking for them to have him call me and he resorts to giving me horrible customer service on the email. I will never be coming backing into 4WPs again.

If you must come here, work with anyone other than Adam Chavathong as he does not have your best interests in mind and will make an attempt to squeeze all the money he can from you.

Two weeks ago I called for a quote to install a Traxda lift kit and airbag lift, a salesperson gave me a quote for around 1400 airbags included but not the Traxda lift kit, two weeks later I called to tell them to order the airbag because my Traxda kit is on the way, another sales person gave me another quote for $2189.60, I told him another salesperson gave me a quote 2 weeks ago for $1400 and I also told him Fat Bob's garage in Utah only charge me $1400 Everything included, I didn't install the kit in Utah because I was traveling that time and the shop was very busy. There was a misc charge for $265which I have no idea what is it about, after I told him I would prefer to find another shop, he sent me another email with the misc charge down to $65. I didn't bother to do business with this shop because of the big price difference. This was my experience with this shop.

So, I was headed to The Hammers and bam! Hit this massive pothole on 580 that knocked my rear driver side shock loose. Stuck on a Saturday with no way to fix it before the event, I hit up 4WP in Oakland. Shoutout to Matt – he figured it out and got me back on the road within a couple of hours. These guys really look out for their customers and give top-notch service. Definitely recommend you check them out!

For my experience, when I needed new tires for my truck, there was a technician, Adam Chanthavong, who helped me to find the right tires for my truck. Adam was very knowledgeable and patient in answering all of my questions to find the right parts for my truck.

4 Wheel drive owner You want to come here! Adam, one of the most friendly, knowledgeable and professional I’ve ever met, just hooked me up with EXACTLY what I wanted! I bought a new Sierra 4x4 and needed steps so my wife didn’t have to climb or jump out of my truck. There’s a million internet vendors showing pictures but I wanted to SEE what I was buying. Adam showed me what they sell and out of several options, I made my choice and I had the good in 1 day! Adam wins my top service person of the year award for handling me perfectly as I went sideways over the installation process. Let’s just say Adam is a gracious human being who earned my business for life! This was my first experience here and it surely will not be the last as they have all kinds of toys for my truck and all my friend’s truck! Great shop!

Drove in with center wheel caps. When I left all 4 were mysteriously missing. That's all I'm going to say. Do with that what you will. Out $200+

Edit: Yes you did show me cameras. And the one that mattered, which is the one covering the parking lot and customers vehicles, was not working. I know for a fact I had them on my truck before I arrived and I even showed you pictures. Again. Had them before I arrived, I did not when I left.

Update: If I could give them less than one star, I would. I recently had my tires rotated, and the shop told me to take a look at the spacers I had installed. All the spacers on my truck were held on by barely two threads of the lug nuts. This is unacceptable and if they had told me this was the way it was going to be, I would not have purchased them. This is incredibly dangerous and could have gotten me killed or someone else on the road killed. I would recommend not shopping here. As this business cares more about money that than it does about the safety of its customers.
