I recently rented a truck and had an excellent experience. Their prices were the lowest I found, and there were no hidden fees. The customer service was exceptional - the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The truck was clean and well-maintained, making my move hassle-free. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of reliable service at a great price!

My partner rented a 15 passenger van 3 weeks prior to the date we needed to use it, speaking to Clint each time in order to schedule and verify all information. From the beginning Clint was rude, dismissive and impatient. When my partner called a second time to verify with him that the information we could provide was sufficient (he asked for a "verification of insurance" form, which he sternly said must be how the form is labelled) he was once again condescending and impolite.

After I was able to procure multiple documents from my insurance and called the company myself in order to confirm, Clint was understanding and said to me that "as long as you have insurance you're fine". That's a far cry from the need for a specific document and a much different tone than how he spoke to my partner.

Cut to the day of my partner going to pick up the 15 pass van, calling ahead of time to say they are on the way; but Clint again shushes them and states that there was a robbery the night before and the catalytic convertor was stolen from the van we were scheduled to rent. This is extremely unfortunate for any business, and while I understand that Clint would be upset at this time due to stolen equipment, it does not warrant him again being rude and boorish toward my partner. When asked why we weren't informed earlier that our rental was unavailable, his response was "do you think I have time when I have to call the police and handle all this?"

Yes Clint, you do have time...unless you are speaking to a woman, it seems. If this business has any sort of pattern of speaking down to women as the owner Clint did to my wife, then I would avoid them at all costs. Unprofessional, unacceptable and wrong.

Don't go to the big company truck rental when you can get service from a local company who actually cares about their customers! I think the condition of their trucks is superior to the big rentals and they are kept clean. They also have passenger vans. We rented one when we wanted to take the kids and their friends to Disneyland for a birthday! So convenient. and easy to rent. Thanks 5 Star!

JUST TERRIBLE! TRUCK WAS TOTALLY UNSAFE AND UNFIT TO DRIVE. My family rented a 26 ft truck to move from west LA to Reseda! The THE MECHANICAL DEFECTS COULD HAVE COST US OUR LIVES!!

The truck speed limit max out at 35mph while empty (driving to location) and 25mph when filled with our furniture. IT CAME TO A TOTAL STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 405 and my uncle had to improvise in order to avoid getting in an accident. To top things off the lift was not working properly and got stuck. Contacted the company and they gave us instructions to EMPTY the oil and let it run. All over the driveway of our new home! After that, the lift got stuck two more times. We ended up paying double to our movers because of extra lifting.

It is now parked on the street and we are fearful to drive it back to the office for the return. I am writing this review to shed light on this company's negligence as well as their lack of customer service. They should have sent someone right away to remedy the issue or at least swapped out the vehicle. Totally illegal, unsafe and a hazard to the person renting as well as all others on the road. We will be reporting this to the authorities in the morning!

5star makes truck rental a real pleasure. Reservations are simple to make, the people are so friendly and the trucks always work great. No-frills but who needs it? Economical and reliable.

Buyer beware and do your homework. The validity of these five star reviews is highly suspect after my experience. Horrible and no service especially after breaking down in the middle of the night with no roadside assistance to call. These vans are very old and poorly maintained. This place is a total scam and tried to extort money from me for their deferred maintenance.
