My family has been using Affordable Marine for years now. Dennis and the team are extremely knowledgeable and go above and beyond to get our boat back on the water. We have a 2004 Chaparral signature 240 with a Volvo Penta Duoprop and 5.7L V-8. Dennis knows this motor like the back of his hand. When we've had issues even over at Catalina, Dennis has spent time on the phone with us to get us running to keep us safe and get us home. This shop not only does a good job, but their turnaround time is better than any other boat shop I have used.

Where to start wit this review. Nothing short of a great experience with Dennis/Laura and there entire crew.I had major issues to over come hanging a single motor from a power catamaran Dennis stuck with it. designed, installed,repeatedly test drove boat to overcome/fix all issues. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Again THANK YOU Dennis. Super happy customer.

Update, repairs have been finished For a couple weeks now and wanted to add a few more comments.

AMS is now my only place for boat repairs. They bent over backwards to replace both bait tank and bilge pumps and wiring. This was a near impossible task due to the access hole being only 10 inches in diameter.

As a 1st time boat owner its worrisome to find an honest mechanic that does quality work. I have heard the horror stories from my buddy in that regard and that he really didnt have a recommended place or person for me to go to. He basically just said to be ready to write a big check. Anyways, I came across Affordable Marine while on my quest of finding a service place. Long story short, this place rocks! Dennis is the passionate guy that loves what he does. He is the customer service guru! He has alot of knowledge and he will tell you what needs to be done to maintain the longevity of your boat. Highly recommended!!!

If your looking for great service & knowledgeable boat repair at a good price this is the place. I had been using another service for years but needed my boat worked on right away. Dennis & Laura were very nice. Dennis really took the time to go over the boat & take care of any problems required. This is my to go place from now on to fix my boat issues. Dennis even turned me on to some good fishing spots.

Since then, I have taken two different boats on different occasions to Dennis at Affordable Marine. Both he and his wife Laura have got me back out on the water with no delay. Dennis is one of the most experienced marine mechanics I have encountered, which will save you money in the long run by knowing what and how to fix your problem. I can't say enough about the services that I've received!
