I would have given the rental place a five star. I gave the rental place four star because we had no control of our delayed plane and we lost our timeframe to pick up our vehicle. We were coming from Arizona so we had no one to pick us up at 1:30 in the morning, and we had to take an Uber, and find a ride the next morning to pick it up at the airport. It was 30 minutes away from the airport to our hotel which cost more. If we had known that that car service closed at one, we would have tried to manage something different but we had no clue. The pick up was fairly easy , and the car was very clean. The service person was very Very nice. If you’re going to rent from this company, make sure you don’t pass their closing time or you will be stuck Getting into your destination.

I rented a vehicle from Sixt from Jacksonville and returned it in Orlando. When I returned the car in Orlando the representative that checked the car said everything was okay. I received a bill a couple days later saying that Sixt was charging me $250 due to excessive pet hair. I don’t own a pet. Come to find out, the pet hair was from the previous owner, and I guess the Jacksonville office didn’t record that there was pet hair in the truck. Now Sixt is trying to charge me $250 for a bill that I don’t own. I’ve contacted the company and waited the 24 hours that they said it takes for a manager to return my call. Of course, I’m still waiting. This has been such a disappointment because I was sure that Sixt was going to be my new go to car rental agency. Obviously now, not at all. My advice to you all about renting from this company, check everything inside and out and take pictures. Attached are pictures they sent to me regarding the pet I do not have.

Our drop off driver accidentally went to the return desk. That agent was super rude and provided incorrect information. I found the right desk and followed all pickup instructions and that agent was even ruder. She was at the outdoor keep booth. Short hair could barely make a ponytail and had braces, African American about 5’5”. This is my first time using your company and after this terrible experience it will be my last. We traveled here and could have chosen any rental company at the airport but took a chance on yours and regret it. If we could’ve canceled without penalty, we would have! There was no reason for it to be like this, I had pre-paid AND checked in! Just needed keys!!

Great service and reasonable staff. I unfortunately left my credit card back in the state I reside in, the corporate office informed me what to do. After speaking with branch manager, he allowed me to show documents proving I do not live in the state I am visiting and approved me to take a rental car. Very cheap prices and they upgraded the vehicle for me for free. Thank you for being understanding and working with me!

I had such a great customer service experience with the Sixt staff in JAX! The car was a great price and in excellent condition. While the car was great, the real reason I will rent from SIXT again was the 10 star treatment by the staff. My experience was the way customer service used to be like. The employees were beyond respectful, helpful, and had outstanding integrity. The management clearly cared not just about the customers but their staff. Excellent job you guys! 100% will rent from SIXT again. You have earned a long time customer.
