Summer Lake is the best apartment complex I have lived at. The staff and maintenance are all very kind and helpful. The apartments are very well maintained and spacious. I love all of the amenities, especially the pool! The community is peaceful and quiet. Neighbors are very friendly and treats you like family. I love it here!!

I have had the most wonderful experience living here, and it’s only been a week! The move in process was easy and the amenities have been excellent. Still excited to be here!

We love living here, our apartment faces the lake and it feels like we are on vacation every day. The gated community is safe, and the amenities are awesome too.

I literally just moved in here on the 8th of November and I’m already ready to find another place to move to. For starters, my whole move in process was a bunch of confusion. So, once I got approved for the place I was told I had to pay a $1000 deposit and rent for the month was $1085. That was fine no problem, I just wanted to know what the deposit was for cause I genuinely didn’t understand the process of this. So I asked, “will the deposit be going towards my rent?” The worker Genesis told me, “Yes” and to use Jetty deposits, mind you this conversation is happening over the phone and my husband hears this as well. Almost 2 weeks goes by and I get another call from Genesis 3 days before my move in and we’re going over everything and she tells me I still have to pay the $1085 for rent. I’m more confused now cause I’m like “didn’t you say the deposit goes towards the rent?” She’s like “No the deposit is the deposit alone.” Now, in this moment I could have taken this situation all left but I decided again it cause maybe it was a mistake and she misspoke, mistakes happen it’s fine. So cool, I scrape up the $1085 and pay it. Alright, so it’s the day before move in and I decided I wanted to move in early and I’m told I can’t because “maintenance still had so much work to do,” I’m like okay, it’s last minute anyways I understand, I’ll wait until tomorrow. Now, It’s move in day and the apartment still looks the exact same way it did the day we did the initial walk through. My floor tiles has spacing in between them, the front door locks are loose so you gotta fight to lock and unlock the door, the tub drains don’t seal so the tub can’t hold water, and the refrigerator and stove is still dented up. Soooo what was it that maintenance did? Anddddd they have one of the dumbest policies ever when it comes to a/c and heating. Out of the 3-4 days I’ve been in this place, I’ve only slept in my apartment one night because my air literally went out the day after I moved in. And their whole thing is if it’s cooler outside than inside your home and the temp isn’t over 80 degrees, it’s not an emergency and maintenance doesn’t have to come out. I was told that I should just leave my windows open through the night. When I called maintenance at 6 pm it was 75 degrees in my house. By 10:30 that night it was 81 degrees. And mind you I didn’t even find out about maintenance being able to come if it get up to 80 degrees until today when spoke with one of the front office workers. The on call maintenance manager he didn’t even tell me that. Now, with all this being said, I don’t recommend moving here AT ALL because for one, no one is on the same page and I feel like with this insane deposit you have to pay and the rent for these apartments, people shouldn’t be coming into an apartment with these issues. These apartments should be good to go upon entry period, point, blank. The only thing they could maybe get away with saying it’s case by case is the A/C and that’s it, there’s no excuse for anything else. And it’s crazy because on the outside these are very beautiful apartments and the area is so nice but with me having these issues right off the back it’s a definite no. If I could give 0 stars I promise I would.

I've really enjoyed living at Summer Lake Apartments. The staff are always friendly and attentive. My maintenance request are handled promptly. The environment is great. We love taking walks, swimming, and using the gym. One of my favorite features of my apartment is how spacious it is. My 3 BR is 1600 sq feet. There is an option to have a porch but we opted to have more indoor living space. We have lived here 2 years and have zero complaints! Kudos to all the staff here!

Excellent, top notch customer service. As a person that has worked customer service most of his life from the military and civilian careers I know how important that is. Man did they ever set the bar. Whew. The entire staff makes you feel like family. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need before you move in. I was excited to move in and hadn’t even had the tour of the property yet. Once I had completed the tour of the property and my apartment I was sold. From the pond, to the pool, the security area for packages, the gym and so much more. Trust me when I tell you this is the place to reside!

I am so impressed with everything about this community, most importantly the management and staff. They are kind, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking, and committed to the highest quality standards. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the buildings are well constructed and maintained. I highly recommend Summer Lakes for your next apartment home.

Very nice apartment, i love it but definitely pricey and the electricity bill is crazy. It is also so hard to get in contact with anyone at the office. They never answer the phone and now there isn't even an option to just talk to someone from the office.
