I have a 2000 Boston Whaler Dauntless that had not run right since I put it in the water 16 months ago.
I was frustrated because I’m ignorant about engines and did not have a trailer to get it to someone to diagnose and tackle the myriad issues.
A Cramer employee saw a FB post about my boat being towed and contacted me to let me know they could get to it.
That was a week and a half ago.
Today I took it out for the first time and it was like I had a new boat. EVERYTHING WORKED CORRECTLY!
Gauges, oil flow, no longer throwing smoke (2-stroke Yamaha) when I start it.
Navigation lights magically turn on. It picked up 4 mph at full throttle.
People like me who are not mechanical need someone they can trust - and I trusted the Cramers but couldn’t get my boat to them.
So they came and got it and fixed it for about 2/3 of what I expected it to cost and walked me through the issues and repairs.
Highly satisfied customer.

To start off with, Chris has been a good friend and fishing buddy for quite sometime. So familiarity obviously was a big thing to me and the fact he hired one of the top Yanaha Mechanics anywhere around here speaks volumes to where this branch of his company is headed. Tad(his mechanic) diagnosed an issue in almost no time at all and had me back on the water ASAP!!! Definitely go see Chris for any of your boating or Yamaha needs!!!!!!

Outstanding experience! Purchased a new Suzuki outboard to re-power. The staff at Cramer marine went out of their way to make it seamless! They were professional, polite and courteous, and very knowledgeable. As with all projects, there were some minor hiccups however, the management team already had a solution in place when I was notified. Great communication! Everyone involved including the mechanic, extremely friendly and helpful. Everybody sells outboard engines. Very few people can’t deliver quality service with it. The staff at Cramer marine did a fantastic job. Extremely pleased.

Best Marine Service on the Gulf Coast!!

Needing a twin Yamaha 250 repower on my boat, I happened upon Cramer Marine through an advertisement which showed an incredible sale on New Yamaha Engines. I spoke to Chris (Owner) on the telephone and he validated and provided me with an attractive estimate to completely repower my boat. After checking with a couple more marine repair shops, not one of them even came close to the price I was quoted.

I trailered my boat 50 miles to their repair facility and was met by Justin (Service Manager) and one heck of a down to earth retired Navy Veteran. He really made me feel like I was in great hands and indeed I was. Justin kept constant communication with me throughout the whole process. Not for one moment did I ever feel there was going to be any hidden cost or expense and thankfully there wasn’t.

On the day my boat was ready I met Aniel (26 year Yamaha Master Technician) who walked me through the whole break-in and operation process of my new Yamaha Outboards. He really went the extra mile in cleaning up my wiring and completing some minor fabrication as well as relocating certain items I requested whenever I dropped off my boat. Again to my surprise, there was no additional labor charge for this extra attention to detail.

Fast forward to the present and now my new Yamahas have 11 hours and run as advertised. I must say in this time of inflation and rising prices for just about everything, it is surely nice that Chris and his Cramer Marine Team seem to balance the needs of their customers as a priority over the highest attainable profit margin!

Review is applicable to the repair shop only. I have no experience with the dealership portion. Tad, the lead mechanic over there has been helped me greatly on 2 separate boats. Prices are fair and they have a great turnaround time. Will continue to do business with them. If you try getting in anywhere else in town, it's nothing but attitude and non-responsiveness. Keep up the good work.

These guys over at cramer Marine are the best in the biz. I was in town from Tampa meeting somebody from Alabama to do a boat purchase and had an issue with my navigation lights. Within an hour they had a completely fixed Plus a few other small adjustments that needed to be made and had me on my way. The only reason I gave them five stars is because seven was not an option. I highly recommend visiting them if you ever need anything in the Panama City area.
