I never want to leave a bad review for any business because I love bragging on businesses that are excellent, however in this case If I could give this business 0000 stars that would definitely describe my experience. I reserved a U-Haul here when I showed up to pick up the U-Haul they did not have a truck for me and two hours after scheduled pick up. They called to say the truck is ready however when we drive 30 minutes to pick up the truck, the truck battery is completely dead and they have to call the mechanic to charge it or fix it so now we are two hours behind schedule and it’s gonna take longer because they can’t give us an estimated time for the repair guy to arrive This place is not professional. Their customer service is extremely lacking. I would not recommend renting a U-Haul or conducting business with this company.

I recently had a truly disappointing and frustrating experience with Gulf Coast Drivetrain. After making an appointment for service, I dropped off my jeep and expected a timely resolution. However, my jeep sat untouched for an entire week without any communication or progress updates from the staff.

Despite their promise of efficient service, it became evident that they had no regard for customer time or satisfaction. The lack of communication and neglect of my vehicle left me feeling incredibly dissatisfied and inconvenienced.

Their inability to honor scheduled appointments and efficiently manage their workload reflects poorly on their professionalism and dedication to customer service. I would strongly advise against trusting Gulf Coast Drivetrain for any automotive services, as my experience was nothing short of disappointing and disheartening.

Billy was in charge of fixing my F250. The rear end went out Billy told me a price that I felt was very fair. He basically kept to his time table. I received my truck and it sounded and drove like new. I have been driving it for a couple weeks and I am impressed. I have not had a vehicle or anything fixed by anyone pretty much ever. This job was a bit out of my comfort zone. I feel like I got a good price and top notch work.

I will say these these guys are busy and the front desk portion of this business leaves a lot to be desired. One great woman answers the phone and has to chase mechanics down with no real answers sometimes. Just be prepared for a less than impressive communication and great mechanic work. All in all a good experience with very fair pricing and excellent work.

As a rideshare driver keeping my vehicle maintained is a must. I have been to every dealership in Mobile and surrounding areas looking for a great mechanic that I can proudly call my own. After almost 3 years of disappointment after disappointment I have finally found my guy. His final price was cheaper than the estimate which was a great price. So good I actually ask him to make sure it was right and it was. Can you believe that? I can’t thank Billy and his team enough. Call him or go online and make an appointment. I hammer my car in all conditions. But Billy and his team are truly a rare breed. When my guy said he was the best in the business I never thought it would be this good it’s almost surreal.
So go ahead make your next move your best move and let Billy and his team take care of you and all your MECHANICAL NEEDS. FROM THE REGULAR EVERYDAY DRIVER TO BIG RIGS. THIS GUY IS THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS HANDS DOWN.

I had 2 vehicles towed to Gulfcoast Drivetrain in November 2021. Today is 27 May 2022 and I finally am told 1 of one my vehicles is ready. I pay my bill of over $2,700, get in the Suburban, and the first light that comes on is, "Engine Too Hot". I have currently been waiting for the ONLY person they have on staff to actually show up and explain to me why my vehicle was released to me with an engine too hot warning light. I still have 1 vehicle sitting under a tree that has not been touched since November 2021. Good luck tot those that take their vehicle here.

Billy Danner is a really neat guy. He knows his stuff! I've used him several times and have been totally satisfied. Reminds me of the old time garages when I was growing up.
