Great Experience!!! Just returned our 28 ft RV from Alaska Motor homes inc. our trip was 9 days 6/19 to 6/28 with 3 adults we did a lot of traveling around Alaska. It was fully equipped with everything needed they even included a cooler & chairs. Check In & out was a breeze we arrived after hours so they prepared our RV to stay in our first night which saved on a hotel. I have rented from other RV places before and they nickel and dime you for every little thing like mileage generator hours, cooking supplies, blankets, etc.. Alaska Motor Homes inc includes it all for one fare price. It’s a family operation Cole & Pete are spot on with there service. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future on our next trip to Alaska. Guys look me up if your ever in Florida i will repay the hospitality with some fresh Stone Crabs Thanks Again

We had an amazing vacation in Alaska, thanks to Alaska Motor Homes!!! Cole & Ira were great getting us set up on our journey & super accommodating!!! Our camper was new, clean, and easy to use. It was so fun to be free and easy to explore different areas and stay in our cozy camper!!! I highly recommend Alaska Motor Homes!!! We can’t wait to come back!!!

Very happy with this place, rented for 12 days in mid August 2023. It was one of their older ones which is only 3 years old 30’ ran great everything worked and everything is included in the rental price. Cole and Ira were also awesome not a bad thing to say about them. No extra charges we had a small hiccup but they took great care of us. First time in Alaska and it was a great experience. We boondock everywhere we could, mostly stayed in Kenai, Homer and Seward area. We are going back next year getting ready to book right away going with them best way to travel. We are going to do the northern part this next time. They will be the only place we will go with, might get a smaller unit this next time for we didn’t all that extra room.

Wonderful experience with Alaska Motor Home Inc. We were thrilled when we received a surprise upgrade from a 24ft to a 30ft! We took an uber over to their address and they had it set up for us to sleep in since we had a late flight into Anchorage. The motor home was clean and stocked with towels, bedding, and pillows for all 4 of us. The RV worked wonderfully, and we didn't encounter any problems during our 1100 miles on the road! We were so glad this company included unlimited miles and unlimited use of the generator. This is the best way to see Alaska! Awesome experience, would definitely recommend this company for your Alaska RV experience!

We rented an RV from Alaska Motor Home Inc. in June. Cole and Ira were a pleasure to work with. We were able to get into our RV early so we could get on the road faster. I stayed at the office unpacking our bags into the RV. We had a rental car to return so my husband brought the car to the airport and Ira picked him up and brought him back to the office.

Ira thoroughly went through the RV with us so we were comfortable with the operation of the generator and the propane tank. Also the process of how to empty the dump tanks. They stored our luggage for us so we had more space in the RV. The best part was everything was included in the price, linens including sheets, towels, blankets, kitchen package, and outdoor chairs. There were no hidden fees.

We would definitely rent from them again and have been recommending them to all our friends who are considering renting RV's in Alaska.

This is based on my rental experience with AKMotorhome in Sept 2017. Before the trip I was quite nervous because of bad reviews I read about B&B RV rental, which was what AKMotorhome used to be called. HOWEVER my experience with AKMotorhome turned out to be a big surprise. I got a 2017 model 22ft RV with only 22k miles on it; it has a slide-out, and the pricing was very competitive. Everything functions well in the RV, and I really had a great time living in it.

Everything is included in the price, including insurance. No hidden fees charged. But read the terms in the contract though, most terms are common sense stuff, but remember to dump everything and fill gas and fuel before returning the RV. For those new to RVs, you can find free potable water and dump stations in most gas stations in Anchorage.

I also need to mention that the staff there were very friendly, and they offered me a free ride to the airport after I returned the RV.

Based on my own experience I would strongly recommend them to other visitors who are planning an RV trip in Alaska.

We hired a RV from Alaska Motor homes in June 2018 for 10 days, we booked well in advance and got the 50% discount which made the cost very affordable. We had lots of communication via email to confirm details and ask questions, all answered quickly and in a friendly manner. We spent the first night on site in the RV as we arrive at midnight and it was all set up waiting for us, Cole and Ira where very helpful and friendly a credit to the company and went over everything clearly, the unit was new and we were impressed, no problems with anything, everything is provided no hidden cost. We had a great time it was a great trip and everything went well, would totally recommend this company. I was also hesitant with the bad reviews but there is always two sides to a story, and I think some people expect a lot, we did a lot of research and double checked things but also made sure pick up was organized and we dropped off by expected time, it is on a one way street so can be tricky to get to but google maps sorts that out, I don’t think you can blame the company for road works. We wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again was definitely good value for money.
