Incredible company. We rented a Winnebago Solis campervan for our first trip to Alaska and couldn't be happier. From their very thorough website and detailed booking process, to answering emailed questions both prior to booking and afterwards they were reassuring and helpful in preparing. The process of signing up, of watching videos, of letting us know what was to be supplied with the vehicle and what we would need to rent or supply was very thorough and easy to understand. They helped us problem solve where to stay the night before our turn in, and adjusted our pick up time when they saw our flight arrivals to make it match better with our needs. Our van was clean and perfect. We did a thorough walk around prior to departing and noted a couple of spots to confirm they were present at renting. Our van was outfitted with plenty of linens, towels, blankets, and pillows for the 2 of us and it was clear if we would have had more, that we could have rented more items. We had everything we needed to be camping at spots without connections, which we did, or with connections, which we did. The van drove beautifully and was perfect for us. We saw a lot of Alaska and we loved the Solis with it's screened in side door that allowed us to be out of the bugs but with great ventilation.
I thought the customer service was phenomenal. We got free shuttle pick up and drop off in a timely manner. As I said, all questions were answered before booking and before the trip, the check in and check out process was smooth and delightful. There was going to be a slight wait when we arrived, and the desk agent even had the shuttle driver take us to WalMart nearby so we could go grocery shopping and then the shuttle picked us back up and we came back to load our groceries and take off. When we were figuring out the timing of the drop off, they suggested the nearby Cabela's parking lot and that worked out so well. I couldn't believe how helpful and friendly they were!
We drove from Anchorage to Homer to Fairbanks and then to Valdez and back to Anchorage in our 15 day trip and it was fantastic! As stated somewhere, it is not super cheap, but if you consider lodging and a rental car plus meals, this is a fun, adventurous, comfortable, safe, and affordable way to see a lot of Alaska. We would hands down use this company and recommend them highly.

Wonderful Alaska vacation with Great Alaskan Holidays! We rented a Winnebago Solis van for a week and it was the perfect home for the two of us. The rental process was smooth and simple and the van had everything we needed. We stayed in some great RV parks with hookups and also some beautiful state parks for dry camping off the grid. Loved the flexibility of doing both.

Excellent experience in Alaska with Great Alaskan Holidays, we couldn't have asked for more. Customer Service was A++. This was our first time in an RV and first time in Alaska. When we had questions on the road we could call and talk to someone that walked us through what we needed to know. It was GREAT! Our one recommendation for GAH would be to supply a small hand held dirt devil vaccuum instead of just the broom.

Had a great experience. We found that lodging options in Alaska were limited, expensive, and not necessarily luxurious. Renting an RV was a great option because it's transportation and lodging. The RV was very nice and comfortably accommodated 5 adults and one 6-month old.

G.A.H RV Campers are a first class operation. We traveled to Alaska with another couple and rented a 31 ft. Vessel. It was perfect for what we needed and immediately went to the nearest grocery store to stock up with the necessities. G.A.H. made available a grill, ice chest, outside chairs, coffee maker, plates, towels, blankets, pillows etc. We were ready for action now. Just about all the highways traveled are postcard pictures out of the front windshield. The Powerful motor and decent fuel mileage made for miles of site viewing around the state possible for our group. Almost every RV campsite we landed was well maintained and clean. Including bathrooms and showers (we Googled on line). It certainly was a once in a lifetime fun, adventurous, laugh filled days we'll never forget. At the end was your staff greeting us back from our trip all smiles from beginning to end. What a trip it was! Thank you Great Alaskan Holiday RV campers to you all.

Traveling around Alaska in an RV is the best way to go. See the state on your own timeline. No rushing to get to your next motel reservations. Enjoy the beauty and stop for the night and camp when you’re ready. Great Alaskan Holidays is what we’ll recommend to all of our friends.

Bought a used RV from these folks fall of 2023. Used it one time, then got it winterized. They informed us that the roof was delaminating at that time. You would think that would be covered by the 1year warranty. NOPE. So my wife said let’s give them another chance. Well after paying them for the roof repair that took a month of our fall time adventures. Well we just got it back from them, and there is still wrinkles and delaminating sections of the roof. Deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the entire experience Great Alaska Holidays has provided. If you are wise, you will stay far far away from them. They clearly allow their rentals to be TRASHED, then they sell them to unsuspecting families with a 1year warranty that means absolutely nothing to them. Literally just picked it up from them, and wife found 4 bubbles in the newly repaired roof. Do NOT Trust this company. We sure don’t any longer. Says they disassembled roof (that’s an easily provable LIE). For it to take over a month and have to come out of pocket for issue they pointed out after 1mo of owning it. What a horrible experience.
