There are two options

1) They are only interested in working on equipment they sell
2) They really don't know anything.

I called their shop about having tires put on my BMW. I'm told by the guy on the phone that they need a special tool to take the wheels off. Keep in mind that the BMW adventure bike is worked on on the side of the trail in Mongolia. Like every day. The "special tool" is an 8mm hex wrench. Exotic, I know.

I can (and have) taken the wheels off with the tool kit the bike comes with. I was trying to save a little time, and maybe throw some business to a local company. My bad

So yeah...... I'm not sure I would want these guys to work on my stuff. Let's just say Im less than confident.
