Excellent communication and friendly sales staff. Prices and markups were reasonable compared to other dealerships. The facility and bathrooms are clean and easy to navigate to the sales office when you're ready to make your purchase. Document signing wasn't terrible, about eight or so signatures. Paperwork was easy to understand and the entire process was quick and painless. I bought a Honda Metropolitan for my wife and it was fully gassed up and ready to go. The only drawback to this dealership is they aren't up to date with current California motorcycle laws. They were operating on the old school way of 49cc you just need a driver's license. Nowadays you need your M1 to ride a Metropolitan in the state of California. If I had known that, I would have also purchased a Navi from them, but didn't find out until later. Since my wife and I will be taking the motorcycle safety training course together. I ended up buying a Navi from a closer dealership and had a horrible experience at Santa Maria Motorcycle and I really wish I would have known so I could have purchased from SoCal Honda Powersports instead. Potential buyers should learn from my mistake and buy your dream machine here!

My boyfriend, his friend and I went in looking for some Navis for all of us. We saw the Additional Dealer Markup (ADM) (for some bikes it was up to $1,100 extra!) and were discouraged. We had called earlier in the day and they said it was going to be a certain price and come to find out it was not. We asked questions and were met with Robert (the apparent manager) being very rude to us. We were looking around at other bikes, he followed us around, and then he asked us to leave. We were not disrespectful in any capacity and in return were asked to leave. I would never recommend this place or ever go back. Robert needs to learn how to sell bikes properly and treat people with respect. We drove and hour and half to buy these bikes, told him that, and he still wanted us to leave. Horrible horrible customer service.

Today, we went to this dealer. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was great. Everything was well organized and clean. Jerry, one of the guys there came right away to ask if I had any questions regarding motorcycles ?. He assisted me in my decision and most of all clarifying a few questions I had on the Honda Navi. He was quick to help out in purchasing the navi and didn't give me any run arounds. While Paul helped me choose the perfect fit helmet. He was very nice and great at explaining and getting the right fit also installing a blue tooth on it which it did not come with but since it was the color I liked He was willing to accommodate it. I felt very comfortable with my purchase and happy that I was treated like a champ even though it was my first bike. I am definitely recommending this location Jerry and Paul to my friends at work and will definitely come back.

I am on a 34 day trip. Lost the clutch on my 2015 gold wing ( 90,000 miles ) . I pull a rollahome camper . I called ahead told them my problem they said they would get right in . With in 30 mins the tech rode my back to service and tore the bike down. They over nighted the parts and will have me back on the road. The owner ( Robert) has gone above and beyond what any other dealer was willing to do and the whole crew have been more than helpful. .
Robert has done so much more to help me while I wait over night for my bike to be done so I can get back on the road . I would never expect or ask for such generosity to the extent they have afforded me.
This a bike shop that is not only a great representative of Honda and the way a Honda dealership should be ran but it is ran the old school way. Take care of the customer and get them back on vac. Other shops told me a 4 or 5 days one said 2 wee I s a few other said a day or 2 maybe 3 .
If you want a good deal or great service and need a new or newre bike ,atv ,adv bike, dirt bike or SxS they have one of the largest selections I've seen in years.
To Robert and kc thank you for taking the stress out of being broke down 2500 miles from home and being such great host.
They did so much more I can't post as they can't be expected to do the same for everyone but it has been a great experience to deal with so-cal Honda .

Went to go SoCal Honda Powersports for some bikes was looking to buy in total 3 bikes was ready to buy, but after seeing A.D.M from $800-$1,100 additional for each bike and yet talked to a person earlier in day for a certain price we noticed they just lied to get us thru the door. after looking at the bikes the manager Robert or so-called manger was a joke, he was rude, disrespectful and just full of himself we wouldn't recommended this place to anybody. and to follow us around the store and to tell us we have to leave at 2:30 when they close at 4 pm I don't know how he is the manager. to lose a sale on 3 bikes and to run off customers would highly never recommend this place go to any other place but here. if i could put a lower star rating then 1 I would this place is a joke!!!!!

Jerry is great. Bought my first bike about a month after I took the Clutch Training class; I had never sat butt on a motorcycle in my life. Jerry made sure I was all set & I rode my first motorcycle home. (Jerry, I made it home safe w/o dropping! ?)

I've had such a wonderful experience working with the guys at SHP. So much so, I bought from them twice in less than 2 months!! Everyone I worked with were caring, responsive, and easy to work with. Jerry - got me great deals on my ruckus and Rebel. He is the total opposite of salesman and comes from authenticity and care. Fernando - was extremely communicative with service. With me every step of the way. Even though it took a long time to get my Ruckus back, he checked in regularly to keep me updated. Casey - got me everything I needed promptly and correctly. The rest of the staff - so nice and helpful!!
