Varyl White has got to be one of the single most incompetent people I have ever encountered. Took us over 1 hour to get a car. The car that was given to us broke down. The battery in it was dead and she told me that it wasn’t their fault it was working fine when she handed us the keys and it was our responsibility to have the car towed back to them. She lacks any type of problem solving skills has zero customer service skills and clearly does not know what she is doing. Zero accountability or communication skills what so ever. Total nightmare dealing with her!

Have to sit in the office until my wife can get the car professionally cleaned do to the hertz employee mistaken identification of cigarettes ashes for my children's crackers, potentially costing a 400$$ cleaning fee! They are lazy crooks.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I called two weeks ahead to collect information from them because I don't have a credit card and was told it was not a problem. They said they would just collect a deposit of $500, so I decided to move forward and rented through Expedia. I came in on 6/28 to pick up a rental at 9:30 a.m. My rental was at 10:00 a.m., so I figured I would arrive early to take care of any paperwork or anything needed to get things going. Right from the start, the lady had an attitude. She asked for my credit card and ID, and I mentioned that I had called and was told a debit card would be okay with a $500 deposit. She immediately said no, stating that it was an SUV and therefore had a higher liability so it would be a higher cost. I said, "Oh, okay. No one shared that information when I called." So then I asked if I could change it for a car. I shared that I was really counting on this rental, and she said, "No, we have no cars right now." I myself work in customer service and I would have worked with the customer and apologized for the inconvenience, but she could care less and seemed like I was wasting her time. I asked if she could cancel my rental, and she said no, that they do not do that and that I would have to call Expedia.I left and checked online for any available cars, and they did have options. She just didn't want to help me. Once I called Expedia, they were calling the office to cancel the request, but no one was picking up.

SKIP SKIP SKIP this place!! Be aware of this car rental location. The 2 broads working the front desk are low lifes. They're miserable (you can see it in their faces) their motive is to scam you anyway possible!!! They lie about days you can return the vehicle, to make you extend your rental. Also you'll be charged a smoking fee when no one smokes in your family. They gotta upcharge to make there quota larger.

I called a few days prior to my reservation with some questions and they were very nonprofessional and short cut answered. I said, OK, maybe its been a rough day/time for them at Hertz. I go in to pick up the rental, the ladies were not very helpful, no customer service, the car was very dirty inside and out, stains, dry stuck dirt, but they could truly care less, because their response to the car being dirty was, "its clean and that's all we have". I will NEVER visit this location again.

We received a car with windshield wiper fluid that froze as soon as the temps dropped below freezing (but we’re not informed of this). This happened in bad weather conditions and traffic and caused us to not be able to see out the windshield and have to fear for our lives, pull over, manually clean it, and stop our road trip to go get our own non-freezing fluid that we had to pour out window to frequently clean the windshield to be able to see anything. To add to our poor experience, after having never been told no pets allowed (and it was not in our paperwork) when we returned the car they tried to charge us $400 for “a ton of pet hair” that was really just what had come off our clothes when returning the car. We did our own vacuum before returning as a courtesy but were told we needed to revacuum or pay. The girl at the desk said “tons of hair in the trunk” which we have of course never put pets in a trunk in our lives. Awful customer service and they did nothing to remediate the situation other than offer one day worth of points, which is really just a business move for them since no one rents a car for just one day and we will not be renting from this company again.

I was charges 300 dollars 4 months later of bill that didn't explain why or what so I called hertz and costumer service was rude and disrespectful. I had get lawyer to win my case. I advice to take pictures and hold on information regarding rentals. I will not rent from hertz again.

My elderly grandmother, who is stuck at home while I took her truck in to the mechanic, was denied a rental because they refused to take any of her info over the phone, or help her in any way, and even when I came in person, they refused my business, as I had brought her card to pay for the rental.
When asked to see a manager the woman claimed to be the manager.
She seemed to not care at all about customers, and refused to even give advice on how to get home or get my elderly grandmother from home. (There are no busses that go to my hometown, and it's 20 miles away)
