I recently had an unfortunate experience with the parts department at Calmoto. On August 15, I ordered a starter for nearly $700, which wasn’t delivered until August 30, despite their website stating parts are shipped within 2-5 days.

When the starter finally arrived, it was poorly packaged, having bounced around in the box during its journey from California to Tennessee. I immediately emailed them to explain the issue, but to this day, I haven't received a response.

I would strongly recommend considering a different parts supplier. Our order was late, and the packaging was inadequate, especially given the premium price we paid. Highly unprofessional!

After calling around to multiple dealerships I ended up purchasing a motorcycle from Cal Moto. I drove three hours to purchase the bike but it was worth it. After an extensive search and contacting numerous dealerships. I finally purchased 2024 KTM 1290R. It was at CALMOTO in Livermore where I experienced genuine hostility as soon as I walked in. The friendly attitude of every staff member and the exceptional knowledge of the sales staff team impressed me.Following an hour of engaging with different team members, I was convinced that I had discovered the ideal dealership they also had the most competitive price.

Worst dealer I ever been to. I took my bike there for the first 600 miles service and come back with three loosen skid plate bolts, two bottom bolts, one front bolts. Plus, they even lost one bolt in the front of the skid plate. Second, I told the service guys there is some oil on the skid plate and check where is that oil came from. After I got home the oil still there and nobody tell me anything.$400 service bought me nothing but more problem. My first time there, definitely my last time. Highly not recommended!

I took my 2014 RTP in for a clutch and Pat in the service department helped me out. I'm a certified mechanic, but didn't have the time or facilities to cut this bike in half to change the clutch and learn all the pitfalls of what can go wrong.

Pat is knowledgeable and was very communicative through the process. He let me know about everything else they found and gave me an opportunity in advance to tell him what I would and would not like to have fixed. I liked that and he was very helpful with providing info to me even on the items I asked him not to repair.

It was expensive, but good work often is. I am a happy customer and can vouch for Pat and his team doing a good job and making sure I got my money's worth out of what I paid them

This is the second bike I have purchased from Calmoto in the last 15 years. David Yoshida handled the deal from my inquiry call to the dealership to my final walk around and loading the bike in my trailer. David handled everything, answered all my questions, and made the whole process simple.
