Just got off the phone trying to reserve a rental car and the woman who picked up the phone told me that a standard car is $49.00 but if I wanted to use her insurance I would have to pay $65.00 a day plus the car rental and a $300 deposit. I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau and I will never rent from them.

All of the people that I dealt with were absolutely incredible… very friendly and beyond helpful… I wouldn’t use any other agency when in the area. Everything on their website is, if anything an understatement. The jeep we rented was quite fun. You won’t be disappointed by them, I’m positive!

I am a private jet pilot for various high-end clients. I called route 66 rental because enterprise, hertz and all the major rental companies were closed on Saturday and Sunday.

When I called, i spoke to Will and Michael. They helped get a rental car so i can go to Santa Barbara. Not only were they quick at getting the process started, but they even delivered it to my house. It was incredibly fast service.

I was really impressed by the fact that they came so quickly and helped me get a nice, clean rental car so i could get to my destination on time. I also was not charged for anything extra (i dont know why these other reviews say this).

Bottomline, exceptional service and quality cars at a good price!

Don't do any business with these people. They can't even do a simple task of sending you an invoice. Instead they're really great at charging people for damages that are already on the diagram. You're better off going to enterprise or Hertz.

Please take pictures if you consider even using this rental company which I highly discourage, Enterprise is a much better substitute then this company. Not only do you risk renting a car here with broken window wipers but you also can get a car that's low on oil as well, most importantly please make sure to take pictures of the car before receiving it; make sure that the diagram they give you is as accurate as possible because they will lie and try to steal money from you for " brand new scratches" on the car although the diagram can show previous damage in the exact same area. These guys are thieves, liars, and just try to take advantage of the people, don't ever do business with this people.

Best experience I ever had with a car rental place. On Saturday June 18th 2022 I was stranded in Baldwin Park after I had dropped my Roadglide off to Laidlaw Harley to replace my bars,grips & mirrors. I had a reservation with Enterprise after waiting over 2 hours for them to pick me up , I called to check & they said it’s out of their range, 3.3 miles away smh told them to cancel my reservation & never again . I found Route 66 Car Rental & called. Mary was happy to help me & even arranged for her driver to pick me up & they were like 10 miles away . I was so happy & cannot thank you enough for coming through, car was nice & clean inside out. Amazing service & they have an amazing line up of sports cars , luxury/high end cars & classic cars to choose from. I will only choose Route 66 Car Rental when in SoCal from now on & also I shared with family & friends about Route 66 Car Rental. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤙
