After having a bad experience before, I decided to go ahead and give this Hertz location, another shot my bad. Although the person helping me was responsive, her counterpart in pink was not willing to lift her head up out of her phone to say no no other cars are available was not willing to have follow up questions with me. The problem I had with my last experience was the customer service this time was no different and there will not be a third.

Poor customer service. I booked my truck rental at this location. Guess what, they didn’t have any trucks. Then they told me “I’m more then welcome to drive over to another location “ but how would I drive there…. Then they gave me the wrong address. When i mentioned this. The two ladies were too busy stuffing their faces to communicate and help me.

My husband and I rented a car from them and both cars had issues. My husband was driving on the freeway during traffic and the car shut down my husband had to get out of the car to lock it and unlock it on the freeway to get it to start back up with my 2 year old daughter in the back seat I called to trade in the car and the lady said she would call me back and never did then we tried to bring the car back on Saturday and they said sorry we’re closed you have to wait till Monday then charged us. We were way over charged and we couldn’t even get an apology. The manager was very rude.

Reserved what I believed to be a gas car for a two week trip. Needed a gas vehicle. When I check in the desk tells me my car will be all electric. I told them that was not okay. I was told there's no guarantee the car will be gas. I asked where on my reservation it says that, and the lady tells me it's listed online, but not when you book. It's listed separately that your vehicle MAY be electric. So after taking an Uber to pick up my rental, I have no car. I asked to upgrade and they had nothing gas. Called another location in downtown Sacramento and they said they had a car for me and would honor my reservation. Confirmed it. Took an Uber over there only to wait for over an hour, which I had no problem doing. But then they told me I couldn't have that car because it wouldn't be fair to people who had booked directly with that location. Had to Uber home. Whole day wasted, three Uber charges, and no car. Ended up going to Enterprise and they found me a vehicle practically overnight and even offered to track one down if they didn't have it by morning. Think I'll just go with Enterprise from now on.

Worst customer service. Will never do business again with hertz. this happened to me twice already from this location. Front desk lady needs to be fired , I booked a vehicle they told me it will be ready. I showed up to pick it up and they said sorry we don’t have it available. On top of it, super rude and showing attitude.

The lady was hella rude. Gave us an attitude. I almost knocked her ass out. Best thing to do was to walk out. Never go back there again. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

I loved my electric rental car from this location. It was so much fun to drive. I had a good experience picking up and dropping off customer service in the front was very nice and easy to chat with. I will totally be back.

Do not risk your time or hard earned money dealing with the dishonest and arrogant manager of this location!

1-I rented a midsized sedan.
2-I was given a Chevy Bolt. Which is electric and MUCH smaller than the car I payed for.
3-NOTHING WAS COMMUNICATED TO ME ABOUT CHARGING THE CAR. The manager was standing there as I rented it yesterday. Nobody said I have to charge it.
4-Returned car early and only used it 57 miles! Clean as a whistle.
5-This rude and unprofessional manager told me I owed an extra $35 plus tax unless I want to "go charge it somewhere"! WHAT?

RIPPED OFF!

I explained in depth that nobody told me to charge it. And I didn't rent a subcompact electric car anyway! He refused to listen to me.

There were two points where he intentionally was dishonest and predatory in his actions.

1-I asked him to show me in the contract where it says I have to charge it. He REFUSED! He told me he has to charge me the $35.
2-He chose to not document the actual battery percentage upon return. You can see on the receipt that he only included the percentage at pickup.

They have a charger there. He could have just acknowledged that they made the mistake of not mentioning ANYTHING about charging the car and not had committed fraud and ripped me off. But he earns his money taking advantage of people so why do that?

Gas would have cost $15 and he charged me an extra $35 plus a $3 tax.

I rented a $29 car. I got $25 in insurance. But my total was $94.

Oh! He did give me the number to call with my complaint but of course they're not open on the weekends. Hah!

Dishonest and so lazy that he'd rather deal with the repercussions of ripping people off than plug in the car and send me off to leave a good review. Okay.
