Where i live there are no boat shops that i would ever recommend so i had to drive 1.5 hours to drop off my boat. My boat was there for a little over a week with a laundry list of items to fix/order. Once they received the parts they had to order i think it was done in about 3 days. I will always go back to Mark at the boat doc even if i have to make a trip out of it. Best of all i got my boat back in the same condition i left it, no greasy hand prints and dirt all over floor. Thank you Mark".

The Boat Doc provided fast and professional service to my Mercury 150 outboard which had been improperly serviced by another dealer. Mark was a pleasure to meet and work with. Thank you!

I would highly recommend The Boat Doc to anyone! So our atory starts 19 years ago at VS Marine in Atascadero. My father in law purchased a brand new Bayliner from VS marine in 2002 to use with the family on a family trip to Lake Mead. They enjoyed using the boat but after a couple outings, they stored the boat in their garage, and there it sat for almost 20 years. The boat had most of the fuel drained out and the fuel that was left had fuel stabilizer in it. The boat had 9 hours on it when when pulled it out a couple weeks ago for the first time. We decided to put the money into getting the boat up and running again. We contacted VS Marine and for one the guy was extremely rude. He said, without looking at the boat, that the boat amd trailer were completely ruined and that he wanted nothing to do with it. He then went on to say that if he were going to look at it it would have to be during the winter and i was looking at least $2800-$4800 just to get the boat started! He said he would only recommend one other shop in the area and that shop was The Boat Doc. I contacted mark at The Boat Doc and had a very different experience. For one they were very nice on the phone and very willing to help. 2nd, he had no problem getting my boat in for a closer look. Once he looked at he realized the boat had actually been stored very well. They changed the fluids and all they recommend was having the impeller replace. The total price to get the boat on the water this same summer? $565. More than $2000 cheaper. VS Marine is garbage yet promote themselves as professionals. My father in law has always taken his vehicle into the dealer he buys them at as he feels they are most qualified to work on them. He felt the same about his boat but was very disappointed that they just turned us away so quickly. Thanks Mark you guys rock!

I originally came here to get my trailer serviced due to an incident on the highway, after talking to them they recommended I could get the work done by a local welder for cheaper. I appreciated their honesty and advice, and will definitely be heading here if my boat is ever in need of repair.

Great marine boat repair shop. The guys are very knowledge and honest. I went to a few shops before this one and could not be happier I found them. The only thing counting against them is their entrance is a little messy.

Guy behind the desk was rude. They charge full MSRP, and when asked about any kind of a discount so I could keep my business local the man just stared like he didn't understand English.... I went down the road to Davis where they were much nicer. Saved $400 by doing it.
