Absolutely horrible experience. Rob told me 30 days and ended up taking 103 days. Went over the agreed price and left my boat an absolute pig sty. Will never recommend them to anyone. I never once got an update, I had to call them every time. Was told a multitude of promise times as well as a different way the work would be done. Got the boat back and it wasnā€™t strapped to the trailer how I dropped it off.

This is a long review so to be brief, they were rude, argumentative, poor customer service skills, poor communication skills, condescending unorganized and hostile. They believe women are unintelligent.

Full review:
We took our personal water crafts (PWC) in for a seasonal tuneup. They said it would be done in a week. Three and a half weeks went by and after calling multiple times for a status update, they were unable to provide one. Since the PWCs were needed within a week, we informed them we would be picking them up. Ron became very argumentative and started to insult me over the phone. Not engaging in his behavior I informed him we would be at the shop around 4 pm to pick them up. Ron informed us that nothing had been done to them, they had not touched them. Then he called back an hour later and told us they had been looked at. One PWC needed a new carb and the other needed the normal tuneup service. He continued to berate me over the phone after I informed him we would still be there at 4pm to pick them up. I listened and then ended the call. When I arrived at the shop to retrieve my PWCs I requested a work order (WO). The man behind the counter, possibly Ronā€™s family member, yelled at me saying he would not give me any documentation of what they did or did not do to our PWCs because they were not charging us for anything. They could not produce the original WO for me to sign showing they agreed not to charge us for anything. Which is fair because they did not do a tune up on either of the crafts. I informed him he is required to produce documentation regarding what they did and they got extremely upset, yelled at me, called me stupid and told me to leave. I informed them calmly that I would leave once they returned our PWCs. They store them in another location. Ron then tried to start another verbal argument amongst the silence while I refused to engage. He told me I have no right to be concerned with the amount of time they had my PWCs as they had other customers waiting over a year on their crafts that haven't been touched. The guy behind the counter stated that they are so busy, they are turning people away. Funny part is, we did a dummy call after he said that and turns out, they were still accepting water-crafts for repair and tuneup. Once our PWCs arrived, we gave them a good look over. They broke the seal under the seat and did not put the seats back on correctly. Once we assessed the PWCs at home, we noticed two spark plugs were stripped. We had to use special tools to get them out. The bad part is, we take these to Evans powersports for all tuneups, never had a good experience but they were close to home. One of the stripped spark plugs looked like it hadn't been changed in many years, there was nothing left of it. They charged us for new ones last year which was evident they didn't change. The spark plugs that were easy to get out were normal. Additionally, we had them replace the motor in one of the crafts 2 years ago. They charged us for a new motor not a rebuild but some of the parts were visibly worn. They also did an oil injection delete and now we have to mix gas. After assessing that same craft, we were able to determine it needed a carb rebuild which was done with the motor repair. I do not trust this shop on many levels including actual repairs being completed correctly or honestly. They have poor communication skills and were even struggling keeping track of where my property was while at their shop. We are now going to another shop for future repairs and service.

Edit to include response to businessā€™s reply statement:

-They are incorrect regarding usage dates
- They did not explain the rebuild at the time. Information they provided below is not documented on rebuild WO.
- Copy of WO for this recent visit was not received
- They insulted our intelligence multiple times during communication for the duration they had our PWCs and during pick up.
- As seen by their lengthy bashing of my experience with them, the apology is long winded and most importantly insincere.

Ron and his team exceeded all our expectations! They really delivered and took the time to explain in detail why certain problems exist or persist. We took our Seadoos and had them serviced for the season. They came through for us. From a business owner to another we stand behind Evans power sports! šŸ™šŸ¼ Carnivores beef jerky LLC

These guys are fantastic. I called and scheduled a service. Brought the boat in and dropped it off. Every step of the way they called and kept me up to speed and what progress they were making. For what they did I couldn't be happier with the repairs and for what the charged. Very reasonable.
If I wasn't selling the boat I'd continue to do business with them.
Thanks everyone!

Ron, Evans and his son sold me a 150 mercury. They didnā€™t tell me that someone dropped it and they said the compression was good well half of the stuff was missing on there where somethingā€™s where cracked prop was even on. I asked them is there a Warranty, they said guaranteed itā€™s going to run. I said, what does that mean. going to run find out the whole thing was bad claims to be a Christian man heā€™s not a Christian man heā€™s a big old, liar, bad business, bad testimony itā€™s gonna answer to God that day itā€™s not an honest man doesnā€™t make an honest living, I went and got $11.40 out of the whole deal for scrap metal. Thatā€™s only thing itā€™s worth and thatā€™s what his manā€™s money is where his mouth is that thatā€™s what heā€™s worth. I could send it back to him if Iā€™m gonna do evil, I want to do a good by doing the righteous thing instead of him, reselling it to somebody else. Iā€™m surprised this Man still in business and still alive of what heā€™s doing to people ripping them off. God gives people gifts. And itā€™s gonna cost him when he goes to judgment when he sees the Lord on that day gift up honesty and heā€™s not an honest man he may be baptize in Acts 2:38 doesnā€™t mean heā€™s going to get away with murder.

Owner only so help full and runs the show there.
Only thing I recommend is going in there for parts. Good luck

Havenā€™t heard too much good second hand.

First hand experience horrible. Boat came back with same issue three times several months Waite plus trips back just to have to order complete new carburetor still had shift and reverse linkage issues that should have been fixed. You Donā€™t get what you pay for definitely nothing extra. But your boat stored out side for months.
Greasy finger prints scuffs 10x dirtier boat then you seen last.

This guy is a true liar!!! I brought in my jet boat, and after agreed upon labor, and $8,000.00 later, my boat looked exactly the same. He did about $3,000.00 worth of work. I had to take it to a boat shop in LaGrange to get it done āœ”ļø right. He is a con artist, donā€™t let the dad eyes get you too. BEWARE!!!!
