I reserved a full size vehicle a week in advanced. They never gave me a car. They told me they were out and I would be contacted when 1 became available. Never got that phone call. When I called and asked what they could do for me, the lady told me they could change my reservation to Pensacola. That's over an hour away. When I asked if they would provide transportation for me to get to Pensacola, since i have no vehicle, she laughed at me. Thanks Hertz for ruining my vacation.

P.S. Hertz has yet to reach out to me or even apologize. Garbage company. Use Avis/Budget. Never had a problem

I have rented from this location every year for several years. I have never had any issue. Cars are clean and ready as agreed on. The employees are so sweet and helpful. They always address me by name..show me the car along with any needed information about my rental. Would highly recommend this location.

They were so rude. I was told I couldn't rent the vehicle with my debit card. Wouldn't allow my husband to call with a credit card. Wouldn't make a call to try to work with me and see what my options were. Offered to purchase their insurance and offered to have them double the deposit. Nothing. Worst location ever! Went right down the street to Enterprise and was taken care of with ease!

Having a road a trip to Miami and Hertz gave us a small tiny car that is not safe, yet the seats were completely wet, and the car is not clean at all. We complained about the car then they accused us of spitting water on the seats!!! Furthermore, they kicked us out of their office and they said that they will call the police if we don’t leave! What a service!!! What a great customer service!!!! They were very rude and couldn’t handle our anger or our disappointment!

There are a lot of places to rent a car .but hertz is the last resort
Picked up the truck in gulf shores from the store ,Manger was very upset that it was a one-way rental ,
Drop-off points in Tuscaloosa 2 locations on the websitesite do not exist. When I finally spoke to a local police officer, he told us where we should look.
Got there, no employees on site, no drop-off key box . It was just a terrible experience .

I reserved a Chevy Malibu for one week. The vehicle was super clean and freshly washed when I picked it up. It ran great, had good features, and got good mileage. The staff was friendly and courteous. Drop-off was very easy as well. I will certainly rent from this Hertz location on my next visit.

Only employee working there was gone and the number posted on the door to call, nobody answered. We called twice and it was just a corporate number. Many people were waiting outside including us with scheduled appointments but no employee there and no sign showing when they would return. Horrible customer service.

I had a reservation to pickup a vehicle when they opened and got an Uber to their location early and waited outside only to receive a call from an employee telling me they had nothing for me and that I was on my own and there was nothing they could do to help. Did not let me in, did not try to speak to me in person. If you can help it, go elsewhere.

Seeing the review about the manager upset with a one-way rental (which is what I needed) makes me think that perhaps they just didn't want to rent me the car, since I needed to drop it off at the Pensacola airport. I suppose their website could have messed up, too, but now I'm out for the cost of 2 Ubers (plus any other rides I will need to purchase in lieu of having a rental) because either they refused to rent to me, or their system doesn't work.
