JB, Scott, and Jeremiah have been servicing my bikes for a number of years. They are trustworthy, do a good job, and pricing is fair. I have lived in Reno for 22 years and IMO they are the best option.

I didn’t think a motorcycle mechanic shop that prioritized my life was something that was hard to come by in Reno, but apparently it is, and Ace went above and beyond to put my safety first. I am a new-ish rider and I replaced my front tire a few months ago at another shop in town that was recommended to me. Soon after I noticed I had some really bad wheel hop coming from the front end. I took it back to that shop repeatedly and they kept telling me nothing was wrong. So I called up and made an appointment with the guys at Ace. Immediately the owner of the shop told me that the tire I had on was too big and was incredibly unsafe to ride. He also pointed out a few things that were also putting my safety at risk, so I gave him the go-ahead and he put JB on the job. It took 3 weeks to get the bike back, but I know parts took a long time to get shipped, and I don’t mind waiting for a job well done. They were kind and polite when I called every week to check in, they got everything put together and looking slick, and the bike now runs more smoothly and better than ever. And their price for the work was incredibly fair. I will be going back to ACE for any future work I need done. Highly recommend as long as you’re willing to wait for the job to be done right rather than go somewhere else that will do it same day and put your life at risk.

I've had my Victory worked on a few times here. The prices have been very fair, the work was done within the time frame he said it would be done. JB is a great mechanic, and very knowledgeable about all brands of bike. I will continue to bring my bike here for work I need done.

I would not recommend anybody ever do business with Ace Cycle. When I first dropped my bike off here I met with the owner of the shop J.B. I was told there was a few projects he had in front but he would have it done in about a month. That being said a month later he moved shops. No phone call. I was told things happened and it would be another couple weeks. When I returned much later to pick up the motorcycle he told me his girlfriend was working on my motorcycle but since they had broke up he had not started working on it again, however it should be done next week.... week after week I was told it would be done that Friday or he was working thru the weekend to finish it up. Kept accidentally dropping screws down the carburetor... 2 and a half YEARS later I pick this motorcycle up disassembled. Rotten.
When I say this shop is a joke, literally in my circle we use this shop as reference of incompetence. 2+years

Great place to get your bike worked on. I've taken my Road Glide there several times for service and tires. JB is always responsive and very knowledgeable about all kinds of motorcycles.

The lousiest service I have ever had ! Took bike in to have my starter looked at and they had it for a month when they finally called and said my bike was ready. I went down and picked it up and rode about a mile down the street and all of a sudden I had no clutch because the clutch adjustment cap had came off so I called Aces shop and after being stranded on the side of road for over a hour he showed up with his truck and trailer and took bike back to his shop. Now he was going to have to order the clutch adjustment cap . After a week had passed I called to see if part had came in and of course it had not. He knew I was moving out of town and I had to pick up my bike that still doesn't run after being at Aces shop for well over a month. He said he would mail me the part as soon as it came in. Two weeks have passed and no part came in the mail so I had a friend stop by Aces and ask about the part he was suppose to send me and he told my friend that he had mailed it out a few days ago which was just another lie. The bottom line is he had my bike for over a month charged me $270 and bike doesn't run and is missing parts that were not missing when I brought it In. By far the most scandlist business I have dealt with and would not recommend his service to anyone and I will be taking him to small claims court and turning him in to DMV and Better business bureau.

20k service, new tire, and fender paint to match. All work done when promised, outsourced fender paint also timely and perfect match. Rear brake pad wear caught by JB on inspection, replaced. Service excellent, very fair pricing. Will return to Ace as needed.
