Do not recommend. Was sold an extended warranty and told my payment would go down after extension. Only for the finance manager to say that's not true and he never told me that. Pay close attention when you go into finance.

Had a mercury motor that I found way cheaper somewhere else and had it sent to action marine on reeves st. (Because they are a mercury dealer) so I could pick up. I was charged 400 dollars for a “handling fee”!! They didn’t have to do anything but unload it and load it once. It took 10 min to load it. I was more than happy to pay a fee for them to stock it for 1 day but 400 dollars Come on now. Completely lost my business. If I have to spend the 400 dollars, then I will spend it in gas to go anywhere else.

These guys don’t know much about a motor that I bought from them and they have one on the showroom floor for example he told me that my motor had only one spark plug when I know it has two and he gave me the wrong size plug to start off with so I had to order (2) spark plugs the right size

Having decided on exact model boat my wife and I were looking for we went to Boyd's to look at one. We were greeted by Kieth who was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was disipointed to find out the did not have a new one in stock. BUT they had just gotten in on trade one just a year old in excellent condition. Bottom line we ended up with a super deal on great boat. Looking forward to a continuing relationship with Boyd's. Thanks so much guys

Was planning on buying a boat from a private seller so I wanted Action Marine to provide a thorough analysis of the boat's seaworthiness. They did a very detailed breakdown of potential issues and I was able to address them in less than a week to close the sale. At least one star is required in order to post, otherwise I would give a rating of zero stars. I hope Action gets different mechanics than were there when it was Boyd's Marine. A year ago, I took my Yamaha jet boat there running, but having some problems. They threw a rod and busted a hole in my crankshaft and cylinders. Then they had the nerve to tell me I needed to buy a new boat.
