My wife and I are constantly traveling in our Sprinter. So when there is a problem, waiting for service really puts a damper on our lifestyle. Auburn RV has been around a long time but I wasn't wild about leaving the van unattended at their old location. Since they've moved to Newcastle, a much more secure location, I have now had three opportunities to work with them on repairs and they have been outstanding. Reasonably priced, quick to get us in AND out and they've stood behind their work. I couldn't be happier to support this business.

Such a pleasant experience all the way around. Every person there is incredibly attentive and eager to help. They were able to book an appointment for me right away for an appliance recall. They jumped right on it when I arrived and the tech walked me through everything they did when finished. I have a 2006 Winnebago Itasca Sun Cruiser with a Coleman Mach 2 ton Plus Central air conditioner with heat pump that was not working properly, it appears that only one of the two compressors was working which makes a big difference on these very hot summer days. So I needed to get it fixed. After searching for a service center that could fix it, I found Affordable RV in Auburn that was a factory authorized service center for Coleman and had a lot of great reviews from satisfied customers, sounded like the place to get it done. So I gave them a call and they said they work on Coleman basement AC units and they may need to keep the motorhome for 3 weeks to get the work done. So I made an appointment to take it in. Now they have had my motorhome for 5 weeks. I called on the third week to get an update and once a week thereafter, hoping that by week 6 they will have fixed the problem. I will update my review once I get my motorhome back.
I got my motorhome back today, a little over 6 weeks. What took so long? Well as it turns out the technician had to wait a long time to get information back from Winnebago regarding the AC, the energy management system, and the thermostat. And also waiting on a new control board for the AC, luckily it was covered under the warranty. The job was completed under the original estimate, so I will be increasing my review to 4 Stars.

Thank you so much to the amazing team at Affordable RV. They were incredible in helping me troubleshoot, provide the correct parts, and navigate a challenging electrical problem in my travel trailer on a Saturday!!!!! I called 10+ RV shops/mobile repair in the greater Sacramento area and everyone gave me a “good luck getting that fixed before you leave for your trip”. Little did I know this amazing business was in my backyard all this time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I’ll be back and sending my friends/family.

I have not needed any RV repair in quite a few years, but came back to Affordable RV for an awning repair estimate. I have two other estimates for between $500-$1200 but they diagnosed the problem and fixed it within an hour while I waited. Under $200 P&L. Just love this family operation; Dora and Steven run a tight and friendly ship! I was worried their growth and expansion would impact the quality and timeliness of their service but it just keeps getting better! Kudos!
