We received an email with directions, spent 14 days driving around Alaska from Fairbanks to Seward and ended in Anchorage and the only complaint is the Jeep had close quarters. But the Alaska 4X4 company, the greatest, everything was easy, smooth and professional.

We are glad that we found this rental company. After trying for many rental companies, they either ran out of SUVs or the price is extremely high. We were able to get a jeep wrangler from this company $70/day cheaper than getting a Camry from other rental companies. The whole process was smooth, no hiccups. Nice car, run smooth! Recommend buying windshield coverage though. For sure will use them again if we ever go back to Alaska.

They have what other rent cars don't have.. the possibility to drive a car in the Dalton highway !! The rental went smoothly, with basically a new truck. When I returned the car I had the pleasure to work with Karen. She was so nice by stepping down to close the contact for me. This company is professional in what they do. I will come back other times

Our experience with Alaska 4x4 Rentals was great! We rented from them in May of 2024. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process. Janet was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. We really enjoyed talking to her about the area. We swapped fishing stories with her! She told us all about fishing for King Salmon and we told her all about Crappie fishing in Mississippi! We rented the Jeep Wrangler and it performed excellent! We will rent from this company again on any future visits to Alaska. Thanks for helping make our "Great Alaskan Adventure " fun!

We received excellent service, including the off-duty manager coming to our hotel to ensure our vehicle was operating properly, we didn't have to wait in line, and the vehicle worked perfectly. We rented a "trail certified " Jeep Cherokee from Alaska 4x4 rentals for a two week Alaska road trip in late August early September 2023. To start with, when we picked it up in Anchorage, it was clean... even the windows inside and out were clean. The jeep had 44,000 miles but looked and ran great. Newer tires were also in great condition. We crossed the Denali Highway, McCarthty Road, and the Fishook Willow Road with absolutely no problems. Pick up and drop off were quick and easy. If you want to rent a vehicle to explore Alaska I highly recommend Alaska 4x4 rentals.

I always rent my vehicle from Alaska 4x4 as they offer great service and vehicles that can be taken off-road without issue (many roads here just aren’t passable in a regular car). This time there was a mix-up and my reserved Jeep Wrangler was given to someone else and another one wasn’t available. I was upgraded to a huge Chevy Traverse which wasn’t what I wanted and not suitable for my travel plans. Alaska 4x4 worked with me to find a Jeep the next day before I left on my road trip and it made my trip perfect. I’ll be back to rent from them again next time I’m in the beautiful state of Alaska!

I had a fantastic experience with this company. The staff at the airport were friendly, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We drove a GMC Yukon from Anchorage to Fairbanks and further to Circle, Alaska, mostly on gravel roads. The vehicle was exceptionally clean, reliable, and handled the wet, muddy, and snowy roads in the hills effortlessly. It’s clear that these vehicles are built for Alaska's tough weather conditions.
