Small two-person shop, super high level of customer service. After our successful rental, they offered to shuttle us back to the Lumberjack show. On the local bus route through downtown, easy to work with and rent if you chose a car for your short day in Ketchikan!

Easy process. Roomy sedan (Dodge Dart). We were able to pick up on the town side and drop off at the airport. There's a gas station right next to the airport ferry. Worth renting for a day or two to get away from the crowds and explore on your own to visit hiking trails, Saxman, and Totem Bight State Park.

We rented here a few years ago and once again last month when we were in port. I made the reservation a week before our trip and lucked out that they had the last minivan that can accommodate our family of 7. They offered a free shuttle pick up/drop off at the port which we took after we returned the car. We decided to walk to the rental office in the morning since our ship arrived at 7 am and the office didn’t open until 8 am. Car rentals in Alaskan ports are expensive but it is the best, economical, and flexible way to explore the area. The only “complaint” that we had is that they close at 3 pm the day that we rented & we had to rush to return the car.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! seeking an accessible vehicle to accommodate 2 elderly people, I was transferred without providing explanation and required to explain our needs all over again. The next person had no clue about accessible vehicles and was unable to help identify the appropriate type of vehicle. after multiple attempts at being connected to a manager, I was put on hold for 15 minutes and the manager Diana came online, was very curt and rude. Instead of trying to help us, she stated I was the problem and refused to rent to us. Do not use this company if you are looking for help making a trip enjoyable for people with special needs.

Be very careful with this company quoted vs charged rates.
First, I would like to say that I always support small local business but when small local business treats you bad and worst than the big corporate business then they must be put on notice.
I was charged for an unused rental day but not allowed to use it.
I was told at check-in that the rate is prorated if I return it earlier.
I returned the car one day earlier and they over charged me by one day on a weekly rate and when I asked to keep the car for the day I was charged and not used, I was told it wasn't allowed because it was already checked out but I wasn't told that the charge would be the same before I was checked out. I was still in the building when I asked to keep it the extra day I was charged for and not used.
This is the part where small local business should be different from the big corporate business if they want to get good reviews and continued support.

The car we rented was a Subaru Impreza, a cute little compact, drove great,good power,good stopping power, great radio stations...lol. Definitely recommend if you need to rent when in Ketchikan Alaska
