The two employees who transported a patient to UCSD on Arbor Dr. around 8 am on June 18, 2021 were the most uncaring, unprofessional providers I have encountered. I am on crutches and was working my way through a hallway where they were transporting their patient. They parked the gurney by the wall, but they, themselves, were semi-blocking the way. They were not concerned about other people walking by which they may be blocking. As I passed, I heard them continuously complain about whatever situation they were in; they were not speaking to their patient. As I looked at the patient, he looked very uncomfortable.

I waited a bit at the lobby for my ride. I then make my way to the exit when I received word that the car is making itโ€™s way to the entrance. As I walked on crutches towards the exit, I hear movement behind me that was extremely close. I turn my head and see the gurney with the aforementioned employees right on my heels. I had to step aside to let them through (me, a person on crutches). Obviously, their treatment of their patient and a person on crutches do not translate to โ€œangelicโ€ patient care, belying their company name.

This last is a minor thing, but one of the gurney wheels acted like one of those misbehaving ones on a grocery cart: wiggling and turning, with a mind of its own.

I hope these two employees and the lack of maintenance on the gurney are not representative of the quality of care and service of this company. But, without proof otherwise, what I witnessed this morning represents this companyโ€™s quality.

One of these Vans almost caused an accident on the 105 freeway putting myself in great danger and whoever was in the car. Do not use this terrible service.
