I recently visited Ape Ryder and had an outstanding experience! I tried both the Bonomo and Gibbon models and ultimately purchased the Gibbon. It felt more comfortable and is perfect for two people, which is ideal since I plan to use it with my wife and our newborn baby.

The shop itself has a wonderful atmosphere—it's a perfect blend of homey and modern. While I was there, I enjoyed a delicious Turkish coffee with the owner, who took the time to explain all the specifications of the bikes.

What truly sets Ape Ryder apart is their commitment to the environment. For every bike they sell, they plant a tree. Kudos to them for making a positive impact! Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality e-bike. Five stars!

I’ve had my Gibbon for over a year now and I absolutely LOVE this thing! I live a block off the Strand in Hermosa Beach and crush 30-40 mile rides everywhere from PV to Santa Monica. It’s such a plush and comfortable ride, and easily seats two on the big leather seat. Great acceleration and power too, even with a passenger. And such great styling! The guys at the shop are awesome: super friendly, helpful and responsive. Absolutely recommend checking out Ape Ryder for your next ebike, you won’t regret it!!

I’ve been researching for a long time to find an electric bike that fits my budget and offers both comfort and style. After a long search, I discovered this electric bike store called ape Ryder in Hermosa Beach. And as soon as I saw the bike, I fell in love and immediately wanted to try it out. It looks super durable, rides smooth and doesn’t like cheap Chinese bikes. The best part is, for the price I could buy a second-hand bike from many brands, I got a brand-new one. Highly recommended.

We had the best afternoon in Hermosa Beach while riding an Ape e-bike. We wanted to rent an e-bike that both, me and my wife could ride together. We tried different places but they told us nobody would rent us a bike like that, until we found Ape Ryder. Onur, the shop owner knew exactly what we needed, and they rented us this amazing, brand new, e-bike that allowed us to enjoy Hermosa Beach and the surrounding beaches. As for the e-bike, it was easy to use, stylish, and very safe. Also, very affordable. We are now considering buying an Ape Ryder e-bike and have it shipped home. Thanks again! I finally found the electric bike I've been looking for at Ape Ryder Hermosa. I highly recommend visiting this store. My first impression is that the store is very unique; they only sell their own brand, Ape Ryder.

The design of the bikes is stunning, but most importantly, the spec of the bikes are impressive. Luckily, the owner of the store was there on the day I visited, and we had a long conversation. I heard the stories behind the bikes, and they inspired me. I hope you get a chance to visit and leave with your own bike while also getting to meet them. They're amazing! Thank you.

Incredible product, incredible service. Just purchased a Bonobo from Ape Ryder and the experience was stellar. Onur and Nihan are some of the most pleasant people I have come across in Hermosa! Don't forget to ask them about the Turkish Coffee! Love the bike and love the experience! 5/5 stars.

My family had a great experience renting e-bikes from Ape Ryder Hermosa this weekend. My son and I shared a 2 seat bike , my husband and our 2. Child shared a 2 seat too. We both enjoyed so much. Bikes were so comfortable and perfect designed!
The staff gave generous discount and free new helmets. They were so kind! Highly recommend!

They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I was getting the perfect bike for my needs. The Gibbon is incredibly comfortable, and the ride is smooth, thanks to its dual suspension.
