I just bought a moped... And anyone who knows these fickle machines will know exactly why I led with that. After learning Myron's Mopeds no longer services them, I called all around the LA area for about an hour.

John Q at Atlantis Motors was the first person to even invite me to bring it in. He worked on it, in what turned into a partial restoration, and did a fabulous job! He went above and beyond to help me get my moped fixed up. He obviously loves his craft, and cares about the machines and the customers. I'll be back, and not just because I have no other option!

Great staff who are very knowledgeable! Parts always arrive promptly with a fast turnaround, and no job too small. With John's help my 46 year old bike is back on the road again! A quick tire/tube change, battery replacement, fork seals, chain, and sprocket, just to name a few. Vintage motorcycles always need something and you can count on the team at Atlantis to let you know if anything needs attention. Excellent service and a great new location! Thanks!!

The owner still owes me money for my motorcycle he sold.

I brought a used Honda I just got to this shop to fix a broken throttle. Daniel told me they could only take a look at the throttle if they did their 30 point inspection first. Everything else on the bike was working fine but he insisted so I paid for that inspection as well. A few days later I came back and they had the throttle fixed. It seemed like a really small issue but with the additional inspection it was pricey.

A few months later I decide to give them my motorcycle to sell. They would keep a share of the price but that was fine with me. Fast forward half a year and I have not received any money. Since they just stopped replying to my emails and phone calls I tracked down the owner John. He started paying me some installments but stopped a while ago. 2 years later I'm still waiting for my full share of the sale.

I would not recommend going here.

I purchased my motorcycle from this garage three years ago since them John and his excellent team have maintained the bike in tip top condition - with repair and routine service work.
I am very particular and insist on only BWM parts be fitted to my 1971 BMW R 75/5 somehow they always managed to source them including, sometimes, from Germany - how they locate them ( including an OEM toolkit )I know not - it’s like magic.
My maintenance work has included electrics, engine,fuel system, exhaust system and suspension all carried out efficiently all with keeping me informed of the timing and cost.
Additionally I have had extensive cosmetic work performed including a new seat and removal of old stickers and wear and tear damage all replaced with totally matching paint.
I will also report the work crew were easy fun and informative ( my bike knowledge is very limited ).

Separately they maintain my 1960 Vespa SX 150 with the same care and diligence detailed above.

Great shop - outstanding work performance with an attention to detail.

I recommend the shop to anyone with a bike be it vintage or new you will enjoy the service.

No one will give your bike more TLC than Jon. This dude is beyond knowledgeable and cares more about you getting out to ride than making a paycheck. He’s taught me a number of things about my own bike and even had me wrench with him to show me how I could do them myself. One of the most legit dudes in the business.
