Arin Jeffers is one of the brokers at Atomic Tuna Yachts, his handling of the details of our boat purchase was noteworthy. Completely professional, yet personable at the same time. He never left us hanging, he was always ready for the next step in the process. He was acting as broker for the seller and since our broker was from out of town, he was taking care of us as well. Always quick to respond to our questions and needs. He had top notch connections for captains to help with delivering the boat. Overall Arin is more of a friend now that I know I could call anytime. He has answers for pretty much anything that can come up with boats. I fully trust his opinions and his work ethic, he helped us buy the boat of our dreams. We found the boat online and decided to go see it. We emailed Atomic and they are very responsive. Peter was our salesperson. He was professional and knowledgeable about sailboats. He was never pushy, he showed us the boat and gave us enough time to see the boat and answer our questions. The boat was in great condition and he handled the transaction real well. Often, these reviews are done in the heat-of-the-moment. Which can work either way depending on a lot of factors. I chose to wait a few months after my purchase to really gain a perspective on my purchase of our 2016 Beneteau 41 Sailboat. On reflection, Atomic Tuna did a great job for us. The team was well trained and professional and delivered to me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. But, there was an issue during the course of negotiations. It wasn't big, so no details here. It was just an issue at the time. My point is that Atomic Tuna made it right. They did not have to and knew the deal was going through regardless, but they stepped up. As you choose a broker, keep in mind this story. If everything goes perfectly, you can have a crummy broker, BUT if you choose your broker based on your own personal worst-case-scenario, you would do well by choosing Atomic Tuna as they have proven to me that they take care of their customers FIRST and FOREMOST.

Atomic Tuna Yachts, They Understand the market, and they seek to understand the Buyers and sellers needs in a low key conversational manner. They have a genuine interest in helping a buyer find the right boat and a seller finding the right buyer, they have a lot of contacts for both! In my case they researched my boat before we met, understood the market and had a few ideas for buyers lined up. We evaluated the urgency of the sale, not at all urgent in my case, then arranged to drop off the boat. Before we could get the listing up we had two offers and buyers genuinely interested, the transaction was seamless, and the boat was sold.
As a special note: they are super responsive to calls txt and email (this I found to be a rare among other brokers) and a welcome change! Fantastic experience, thank you!
