Amy did a great job, but I was not happy with the work done on my car. Despite being under full warranty, I was charged $375 for diagnostic work due to a warning message that came up on the screen that they could not Figure out. They also provided me with a new charging cord which when I got home didn’t work. When I checked in, they told me to hire an electrician, that the problem was at my house. It turned out they had not updated the software in the power cord, and it had nothing to do with my Electrical supply in the house. This is the fifth car I’ve bought from Audi Marin and I’ll continue to do business with them, but hope that my next service experience is better.

Horrible for the second time!!
I bought an 80k & 90k maintenance package and when I went to pick up my car the dashboard showed a light indicating that I would need to change a reverse light bulb and my attendant told me that my car had no problems but he gave me the car with a warning light that indicated a malfunctioning reverse light and the attendant didn't even tell me about the problem and gave me the car without turning on the burned out reverse light bulb that cost $4 and only needed a screwdriver to restore

I was sadly very disappointed with my recent experience at Audi of Marin. I am a first-time Audi owner after having Volvos as my last three cars and experiencing subpar service. I was excited to drive the new car and loved it at first. After 13 days, the car experienced an electrical problem that rendered it undriveable. It was towed to Audi of Marin.

My service agent was Gary. In the two weeks that my brand new car was at the service center, Gary called me exactly one time with an update. I had to call all the other times to ask what was going on with my brand new car. I was not offered a loaner, even though I asked more than once, because (I was told) I made my appointment online and did not call. Gary was dismissive at best and (to be entirely honest) inappropriately condescending in the face of my situation. When I finally picked up the car, he went out of his way to tell me that the delay in fixing it was not for the reason I thought (which he told me was in fact the reason on the phone).

Then after leaving I discovered that the service team left the defective battery and random plastic parts in my back seat. Gary did feel it necessary to call me then, to tell me that I was most welcome to drive back and drop it off at my convenience. No thanks, I do not want to set foot in that service department for quite a while. FWIW I spoke to one other service agent (a woman), who conveyed more understanding of my situation in about ten minutes.

Did a good job servicing my car. It took awhile but I did have a loaner. At beginning the service rep kept me updated but then I had to text her. She did answer pretty promptly. When I picked up my car she wasn’t there. I wasn’t given any information about what had happened nor a printout for my records. I once again contacted service representative and she was going to email the paperwork but I never got it.

Audis are beautiful cars, while under warranty. The service is great, when you’re not getting nickel and dimed. We took my wife’s Q3 in yesterday for a leaking sunroof. Apparently a known issue with Audi. Well we’re off warranty now and it was $325 just to tell us the tubes (where the water from the sunroof) flows are clogged. Clearly. And then they tried to claim it was an additional $1350 to clear the tubes. Unbelievable. Do not buy an Audi, lease only. It’s clear that the service is where they actually make their money.
