I have been coming to Ben’s shop for a few years now and this review is long overdue. The first time I came to see Ben and Nikya was for a simple set of tires, but the friendly, expert service and fair prices keep me coming back again and again. He changed my tires and pointed out a weeping seal on my final drive. He mentioned it would be an easy job I could tackle myself but offered to take care of it if I wasn’t up to it. Ben really listens to you and while he is great at pointing out things that need addressing he does so in a helpful way and is never pushy when recommending any work. He knows these bikes like the back of his hand and is an absolute wealth of knowledge. He encourages me to do my own maintenance and has given me confidence in my own ability to wrench on my bike. He lets me pick his brain about even the smallest details. My bike has never ran better than it does today, and I owe it all to Ben.

Ben and Nikya run a clean shop and continually exceed my expectations with great work and excellent customer service. If you have a BMW that is in need of service do yourself a favor and give them a call.

Great Service and communication from the the start I felt lucky to get My 05 R1200GS in so quick considering how busy it can get this time of year. The team at BMW were clear and thorough about what was to transpire with my Moto so as to not disappoint any expectations of mine. Through out the whole time I was informed and felt it was a reciprocal transaction and best of all my Moto feels some new life into it... great work folks.
I highly recommend this shop!!

After finding a garaged 1200GS that sat for 7 plus years. I was told Ben's was the place to take it for a once over. He gave me a no nonsense review of the bike, and what he recommended I get done. He located a rear main seal leak that would have smoked my clutch and caused even bigger problems. I am very pleased with the customer service and professional expertise I look for when it comes to my safety on the road. To that I will alway say it is money well spent. I am all about supporting our local family businesses, and highly recommend Ben's Motorcycle Repair shop.

Dropped by the shop when I was riding north through California. Ben took time out of his schedule to help me with fixing a few things on my bike. He is a very knowledgeable person and definitely an expert with BMW motorcycles. Thank you

This is a truly exceptional shop. Ben has a great team and they all seem to love what they do. I am a mechanic myself and this is the only shop I really trust with my rare bikes and I travel 150 miles to have this shop work on my 5 bikes. There are a lot of BMW shops in the Bay Area and for my money this is the best of the lot. I like SF BMW but I love Ben's shop, it's unfortunate I live so far away but its worth it and I like knowing they are as into my bikes as much as I am.

So lucky to have Ben's Motorcycle Works in Freedom!
Patient with me through the years.
Pleasant and professional.
Just now took less than 24 hours to order, receive and mount a new front. It's a busy shop that feels like they offer individual service.

I was touring through California and unexpectedly burned through a rear tire, my route was remote and this was the last chance I would have to get a tire, and while it had some life left, it definitely didn't have 1,200 miles left. I called 2 hrs away, when I got there they were expecting me and got me in and out under an hour(great service guys, wish there were more around the country like you). They have a really good vibe going on. A great Beemer shop!

I was on a long trip from Minnesota out to California and back. Another dealer changed oil in my bike but did not remove the filter's o-ring from the engine block. It lasted almost a thousand miles before it failed. I noticed an oil leak under my bike while in Monterey. When I contacted Ben's, they said they could get me in that Saturday morning. When I pulled up, before I had even spoke with Ben, the mechanic had my bike on the lift and started on it. After they found problem, they went through the rest of the bike to verify there weren't any other issues lurking.
They have a waiting room but across the street there is a Starbucks, grocery store and other food options.
These are excellent, friendly people who do great work. I wish I lived closer and could use them for all my repairs.
