My motor seized on vacation travelled from KC. In the aftermath of the pandemic with no parts or motors available, Jim had a rebuilt power head that just happened to fit my motor. I installed the unit in his lot with ample advice and know how at my disposal. He was kind enough to also lend any tools and even a fork lift to help get the job done. Justin, one of his technician, even went out on the boat on the first run to make sure it ran correct. Later, we did have an electrical component that had failed. They helped diagnose the issue, offered tools and assistance and it was replaced without additional fees. Jim was concerned about my prop being too big. He reached it and once again offered everything to help repair it in his parking lot.
In a day in age when no one cares, this company with ALL staff had gone above and beyond to help a guy down on his luck save a family vacation. Thanks guys for all the help. I recommend this business to everyone and wish more were operated like it.

I worked out a deal on used boat and outboard motor with trailer. I walked the lot today, 11 month's later, and wow, it's gone!! He Ghosted my phone calls and text!! Finally got my money back today after driving 45 min to see him. I don't blame him but I definitely don't trust him!!

Do not recommend. The owner will not listen to what you want. Instead, he interuptted me to tell me that what I want is wrong and would not defer from attempting to sell me what I had no interest in. Refused to even budge. Poor customer service and sales skill is non-existent. Just wanted to sell me most expensive version of what I really didn't want. Then proceeded to tell me I'm an idiot for wanting what I did. Will never cast a shadow on their door again.

Hands down my go-to place for anything boat or duck hunting related. This place has what is very hard to find: An owner that is insanely knowledgeable, yet dead honest. He talked me into a less expensive boat because he insisted it was better for my needs. He was completely correct & I’m glad that he saw my buyers excitement and brought me back to earth lol.

I just bought a used boat and I took it to The Boat Center to have it serviced. Jim was very helpful and explained everything to me as this is my first motor boat and I don't know much about them.

I have to say that it is hard to find a mechanic who will honestly tell you when you need something done and when it is best to wait. A shady mechanic could easily have sold me a ton of service and products that I didn't need just because I wouldn't know any better.

One thing to note is that when I got the boat back and put it in the water for the first time there was a problem. I figured my Sunday fishing trip would be shot, but I called Jim and he met me almost immediately and fixed the issue and I was able to salvage my trip.

He stands behind his work and I highly recommend him.
