Damaged a $900 forged Lotus wheel by using a breaker bar to try to get the tire to seat. Fortunately I was able to stop them before they did even more damage.

Excellent quality service at reasonable prices.
Very friendly staff. Super knowledgeable owners, mechanics and employees. I brought my 2020 Ram Dodge diesel to California tires and wheels and they installed method rims, N-fab step up bars 35-in BFG all-terrain tires & a carli suspension 3 and 1/2 in lift. Driving away with my dream truck!! Thank you guys for the quality work at a great price.
I will definitely come back for future business with my personal and work vehicles!! Super stoked!! ☺️

I usually don’t do reviews, but the service I received was so above and beyond that I felt compelled to write.Usually when I deal with anything related to car service, I am made to feel lucky to even be considered for service. Here, I was met some of the best customer service I’ve encountered. Knowing I had a specific time frame I was working within, Aziz and crew took an all-hands-on-deck approach and took care of my lift-kit, new wheels and tires…even staying a bit late to not only make sure the work was complete on-time, but done so at the highest level of quality.

These guys may be newer than many of the shops in the area but their customer service and support is TOPS!
It’s a little tricky to get to the shop (being right at “the hub”) on Sir Francis Drake Blv, but you won’t regret doing business with California Tire & Wheel!

Found their ad on CL, deal sounded great. Went in and Nick helped me out. Friendly and knowledgeable. Decided on a staggered set of Niche Surge 20s. Great price with Pirelli tires. Going back for another set.

I’ve used this business several times and have in the past found them efficient and helpful. This last visit has left me unlikely to return. I spent nearly $2K to replace a set of tires and get an alignment. When the car was returned to me, the rear tires were underinflated by 3 and 6.5 lbs. When I called to note this, I received all kinds of excuses, including that it “can take some time to settle”. Obviously, this is rubbish. I can accurately inflate a tire with a $25 device in my driveway. Given the opportunity to apologize and take responsibility, I was met with defensiveness and ridiculous excuses. This makes me question the overall quality of their work if correctly inflating a set of tires is such a challenge. The nice valve stem caps I had bought for my car were not returned. The new tires have cheap, mismatched valve caps.

Update: I had a slow leak in one of my tires. They took me in without an appointment and got it fixed in about 15 mins. Didn’t charge me a cent. Will definitely recommend due to their awesome customer service!

Saved a good chunk of money by getting my tires here instead of Costco. I didn’t need an appointment and the cost of installation was included in the price (unlike Costco). The man working there was super nice and they got it done in about an hour!
