Z, was clean cut does things by the book. While my experience was good vehicle needed an alignment, but over all it was a good drive. Drop off was decent but clearly they were a short staffed.

Shuttle dropped me off at bus rental station still arrived to my flight.

I am genuinely disappointed of the services and will ont advise. I had rented a car for 4 days and was told i was receiving the deposit back after drop off. Few days after dropping off the car i see on my report that they took money from my account without my knowledge with no explaination , i try to reach them but nobody pick up or email back. Not onlt did they took more money from my account but i was also accused by one lady there of breaking a tire when in fact the gentleman helping me told me that this was there way before I rented the car.

I was very wary because of all the bad reviews but I wanted to see for myself because I know every experience differs. I went for my birthday weekend in January and I paid The $30 for the rental protection on Expedia and I was under the impression I was only going to have to pay about $80 for the day and a half that I was renting the car, however when I got there they told me that the $30 insurance on Expedia was different than what they had so I had to pay an additional $60 for 2 days of insurance not to mention the $200 hold they put on my credit card and it has been six business days and it's still not been released. If it weren't for all the hidden fees it would have been a full 5 stars. The guy at the counter was actually very helpful and did his best to counter some of the fees that I had. The car was nice and it was clean. They ordered an Uber from the airport to the cafe so I didn't have to worry about that. I did return the car before business hours so I had to get my own Lyft back to the airport but that was fine.

The manager at this establishment exhibits unethical behavior. We made our reservation online and prepaid for all expenses prior to collecting the vehicle. While my husband was completing the checkout process, the manager engaged him in conversation and persuaded him to sign for rental coverage amounting to $200. We discovered this charge the following day and attempted to contact the company; however, we received no response. I strongly advise against renting from this business.

Do not go here. They are a shady business. Check your insurance and make sure it’s covered per state of California standards or you will be charged for the xtra coverage that they do not let you know of prior to booking. We called our insurance and upped our coverage to meet their need and then she says it had to have been done at least a month ahead of time. BS. Red flags as soon as we got there. Should’ve trusted my gut. Take lots of pics and videos of any damage before u drive it off the lot so you cover yourself. It appears they look to charge you for anything they can get.

Here's another negative review. It's true, I was charged an extra fee without my knowledge. It was a $50 roadside assistance fee. And the crazy thing was that I finally notice this 2 years after I had rented the car. It showed up on my credit report as a delinquent account that was under collection. Why wasn't this disclosed at the time of rental? Because it was 2 years ago, I figured everything was paid for. I declined all extra coverages, since my personal insurance covers all cars that I drive. Unbelievable! How is this place still in business

First off, they attempted to upsale me into a bigger car.
Proceeded to have a confusing conversation about not being able to use my debit card for a PREPAID rental, telling me that I would need to refund my current reservation to run the debit card. Thinking I needed to pay for a new reservation, which I spaced in the midst of his unclear, roundabout explanation of why he needed my card, I authorized the transaction and proceeded to contact Expedia to get a refund since the agent couldn't find my reservation. Turns out I was getting charged $193 for liability and roadside assistance, which I didn't need because I am covered already!
Moral of the story, if you prepaid, then don't let them charge you for anything else. You already decided what coverage you want, they will try to convince you that you need more.
