The reason I gave it a star is because I wouldn’t give it anything.
So I reserved a car on line. Paid for the insurance separately which the car was $37.00 a day. The insurance was an additional $13.00 a day. When I got to U-SAVE CAR rentals off Laurel street I find out I can’t rent a car without a CREDIT CARD. But it sure took my debit card for the insurance which I was then told that That insurance is only LIABILITY. You still have to have COLLISION insurance. If you don’t have your own insurance you have to purchase that too. And that was another $20.00 a day. So your average rental that’s supposed to be cheap at $37.00 a day has now added up to $70.00 a day. You can’t find where it tells you to have a credit card and your own insurance coverage. This is just maddening. You’d think since a debit card get the money to them quickly you can rent with a debit card. But then you need a credit card so the interest on that brings the total way up near $100 a day to rent a cheap $37.00 a day rental.

This is for laurel airport parking. I returned late at night and was greeted by my car being blocked in. Elevator permit it expired in the deck and the attendants, I had to ask x3 times to move the cars blocking me from exiting and when you're already exhausted and just want to go home it's too much a hassle dealing with the way this lot is operated. Also the deck is not very secure and not the safest, so if you love your car, I'd advise against the laurel deck

Terrible customer service post rental. My wife left her purse w credit cards and ID in the car, we called 30 mins later once at the SD airport and was told to send a prepaid shipping label and they would return it. It's been 3 weeks and now they won't return my calls. Whoever found it while cleaning the car is a crook. What a terrible experience. 0/100 stars for that!!

i got there and the area is outside the airport so i took an uber. in the beginning it felt sketchy but they were very helpful and friendly. the owner was there too and offered me to choose from 2 brand new cars, a pickup truck or a minivan. i chose the pickup truck. they reimbursed the uber fee, and i didnt have to pay for insurance because i showed them my own insurance. i was hesitant to give them the actual insurance card but i also understand that they need to be covered in case someone crash the car or run over the border with it. easy checkin and checkout. they offer free bus rides back to airport but keep in mind is not their own shuttle so it might take other stopes before they take you to the airport so prepare in advance some extra 20-30 min before you need to be in the airport.

This place is completely ridiculous. They require to much and tried to originally say that the car would only be $388. And because I said to them. "No ma'am. The total is NOT actually going to be that. Can you actually not lie to me and tell me the actual full amount it will be when I get there?" THEN and only then did she tell me it was going to be an extra $300. So almost $800 for a stupid rental car. Plus your bank card has to line up with the drivers name. My husband was going to be driving but the card is in my name. So it wouldn't have worked out anyway
