Just be aware of the fact that they are in business to sell you a vehicle. Once they have you in one, they will avoid you as much as possible unless it involves collecting money.
I bought a car, and while signing paperwork, they told me "if you find anything wrong with the car, let us know and we will get it fixed immediately, whatever it is". Well, the check engine light came on the same day, and we are a month and a half waiting to get two simple sensors replaced.
Every time we call and ask for the manager, he is test driving or has gone for the day.
I don't blame the store though. A person could easily be convinced that this is their corporate practice.
I have dealt with CM before, at a different location, and when I received letters from the revenue dept that there was an issue with my title paperwork, two years after I bought it(don't ask me how, but something cm should have resolved long before), I was given the run around for weeks before it was resolved.
So a couple years later, after the sting of that ordeal wore off, I have a car break down, and need something fast.
Well, cm is quick and convenient, and I give them the benefit of the doubt thinking this is a completely different store, different crew, and should be a different experience.
Nope. Different problem, but exactly the same treatment. Get me in a car, get me out the door, and do their best to ignore their obligations.
Of course they wanted to sound helpful up front, but they have successfully drug this out well past their advertised 14 day, no hassle, love it or leave it guarantee.
So, since I can't seem to catch the manager in, let's call the customer service line...
A recorded message telling me the cs hours are between 9(?) am and 6 pm. Great, I have plenty of time, it's only 5 pm. So when the message is over, I wait, thinking a cs specialist will be answering after a short hold. After a few seconds, "are you still there?" "Yes", immediately cue same recorded message. Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat.
Mind you this is in rapid succession, so as to get the point across that you aren't getting an answer.
So, if you must, buy at your own risk, cross your fingers and hope for the best. Good luck, you're going to need it!
