DO NOT TRUST SAVIOR JACKSON OR CLUTCH WHIP RENTALS

In August 2024, I delivered my 2023 BMW X5 to the Flower Street location in Los Angeles for rental through Clutch Whip Rentals. From the start, there were significant issues with payment. After multiple attempts to contact Savior Jackson and the Clutch Whip team, we finally received payment for the first rental. However, after that, we received no further updates or payments.

When we reached out to ask for clarification, Savior assured us he would personally look into the matter. Weeks passed with no resolution. We eventually made arrangements well in advance to retrieve our vehicle. On the scheduled day of pickup, Savior informed us that the car had been sent out on another rental, though he could not confirm its exact location.

Upon arriving at the garage, none of the staff there had any information about the vehicle. Savior offered to pay for our lunch while we waited. After hours of uncertainty, we decided to make plans to return to our home state. Savior promised to split the cost of a hotel with us, but to this day, he has not followed through on that promise (three months later). Instead, he provided us with another car from his lot to drive home.

Over the following weeks, we learned the vehicle was stolen during its second rental—an incident for which we were never paid. The tracking device on the car was disabled at 9:18 PM on September 1, 2023, and the vehicle never returned to the garage. We filed an insurance claim, which was denied. Savior provided the renter's insurance information, but it turned out that the renter had fraudulently opened policies using a stolen identity.

After informing Savior that all claims had been denied, I asked him to file a claim under his insurance, as outlined in our contract. Despite multiple assurances—both written and verbal—that he would "make it right," I have not heard from him since November 18, 2024. Repeated attempts to contact him have gone unanswered.

The total loss from this incident is estimated at nearly $95,000, and Savior has completely disappeared. Additionally, the garage staff are not employed directly by Clutch Whip Rentals; they are part of a third-party company hired to perform manual tasks. Operations also appear to be outsourced to other countries.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I strongly advise against trusting Savior Jackson or Clutch Whip Rentals.

Absolutely do not give your car to these people for rental. They have had my car for two months. Never got a single penny for rentals, if there was any. They got my car stolen somehow, and it is now in a body shop in Nevada somewhere, and they are denying insurance coverage?!?

Clutch reached out promising great returns on our 2024 suburban. In 1 month we had a 1 day rental that was at 2 in the morning. The occupancy he showed on other cars were fake. The communication was horrible. This is a Turo arbitrage scam. They never paid out for the rental it did have till I threatened legal action. I’m out over 2k in payments, insurance and two tows. Do yourself a favor and don’t fall for it.

Rented the new S-Class and it was awesome! Pickup and drop off was super easy and they even let me keep it a bit longer. Super nice employees and quick and easy contracts.
