Ms Lacosta goes out of her to help anyone can she can and when something needs to be fixed it gets done quickly. It’s quiet I just wish there was a playground for the kids but other than that I love it here. It’s clean outside and no broke down cars all in the parking lots. And it’s secure with cameras ❤️

If you want to save money for a year or more, I highly recommend renting an apartment here at Cottonwood Apartments in Jacksonville, AL. Management is exceptional & the neighbors are friendly and never "nosey." We help each other out when help is needed. There are never many who have complaints. The rent is very reasonable, and maintenance is very professional. My husband and I have just renewed our lease for another year. We have managed to save quite a bit of money to put towards a new home that we plan to purchase in 2024. I only want to live in Jacksonville or anywhere in Calhoun County, AL., with the exception of Anniston city limits. Please, if anyone is interested in renting in this college town, I suggest looking to Cottonwood first before looking at any place else. The first set of apartments needs some remodeling. However, the apartments in the back are of better quality.

Limited parking and no designated parking spot for tenants (parking lot completely full most nights).
The apartments range from 2 to 3 bedroom and 1 bath but the interiors vary from apartment to apartment. The dishwasher and washer/dryer need to updated asap (some apartments don't even have them).
The maintenance workers are polite but usually take awhile to complete anything.
The management is friendly for the most part but doesn't put up with nonsense from residents or nonresidents. Sometimes the manager can be snippy and somewhat rude and will fly off the handle when challenged or argued with.

I live here, my car has gotten damage multiple times, it takes about a week for any type of Maitnence to come threw with anything. It’s definitely a nice place for college kids or something like that but steady families idk if I recommend. It’s just annoying when your trying to contact someone about stuff or issues.

Manager does a great job making sure that this place is kept clean and maintenance of the apartments. She works very hard. Very nice place by the looks of it. No loud music and arguing noises coming from tenants

Affordable 2 bedroom apartment that allows dogs! Gave 4 stars because of waking up to no water (problem might have been fixed by now) and our carpet was not cleaned when we moved in. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of being across the road from Wal-Mart with quick access to Jacksonville State University.
