RV was great, clean etc. As a first timer, I was pleasantly surprised about the amenities on the RV. The walkthrough could have been more comprehensive for fist timers (e.g. it would have been useful to know that the fridge needs to be turned on separately, and that the propane valve is closed by default, etc). There were some hiccups during pickup with the Cruise America reservation system so it took a bit longer to sort out the paperwork. Other than that, everything was fine.

Worse experience when renting an RV from Cruise America.
This location is very unprofessional and horrible in keeping these RV well maintained.
I rented an RV for 3 nights
1st off I received the RV with 1/2 full fuel tank. It should not be upto the customer to fill the fuel tank up until it is returned.

2nd The RV had ZERO water in tank I asked of they can fill but the worker said he dont have time. I had to find a location and fill my water tank. After I arrived at my camp site Inoticed a puddle of water underneath the RV sure enough I checked the water levels and my tank already in the red. The leak was even coming inside the RV had to put a rag to keep our floor dry.

3rd The worker tells me the Propane level is at 2/3rds full. From previous experience thats more then enough for my 3 days so I didn't ask for it to be filled.
Well once again when I arrived and checked levels the propane was in the red.
Luckily we brought our own griddle and propane to cook.

4th The heater wasn't working when I turned the generator on. I had to turn the RV on to use the RV Dash heater.

at the end of the day there is no excuse
these RV should be checked on a daily whem they arrive as well as all tanks filled properly and inspect for leaks.
There was a reason why the water tank was completely empty when I received it.

Luckily our camp site had hot showers
since filling the leaking tank was useless.

Staff were very helpful and friendly and deserve five stars. The RV had a passenger side mirror that was very wobbly, could not secure the privacy Velcro drape to anything to keep the driving area separate from the sleeping area. The plastic stapled trim on the above cab sleeping area detached from the wood, put was easy to push back in place. Water tank was 3/4 full and smelled like sulfur and have no idea how long it had been in the tank. It got better after we drained and refilled. The fridge and freezer never got cold even though we turned on the day before we left and parked flat. We had coolers and ice to suffice. The tire pressure indicator was on the whole trip but staff said Cruise America didn’t want to fix the issue and assured us we were fine, and we were. The dining area was really hard to turn into a bed and we had to return it unrestored. It was too heavy for us to get back into place. We also ordered the kitchen kit a few months in advance but were called to say it wasn’t available. Alerted in time enough to supply our own, but would have liked that amenity included for the fee for our ease of planning. Our needs were simple. An indoor sleeping and cooking area with heat. Didn’t use the bathroom or shower because we didn’t want the dumping chore. Campground had facilities. Regardless, we would and will rent again. It was our first time so user inexperience was in play. Easier to drive than I thought. We had a good experience.

Great customer service. We accidentally left some very important things in the RV and they kept it safe for a week before my stepdad could pick it up for me. I felt incredibly grateful that good people were working there.

This was our first experience in a RV. We were able to pick up our RV at 1:00 pm and everything was in working order. However, we reserved a kitchen kit and when we arrived, they didn't have kitchen kit available. We did not pack any dishes, utensils, etc., so we had to go to Target to buy everything. RV only had half a tank of gas (would have been nice to have a full tank). Also, propane and water were both at 2/3 full (again, should be full at RV pickup).

Simple and easy to do second year working with Santa Rosa office and planning more trips. Respectful quick. In and out. The only issue was a bout an alarm that went off in the oxygen and propane sensor. That was unexpected. Found the resetting button and all was done. Thank you

The staff was awesome in helping me at last minute secure a RV for a trip since mine was still in the shop. Everything was done very professionally and they weren't put off. Despite a mishap in vegas (i know right?) the 1800 support staff tried to help but ultimately the timing was off (sunday/concert conflict) they opted to refund me 2 days as a compromise for the malfunction.

The trip was saved, a great time was had, many fun memories made, and a stellar RV that did really decent on gas (by decent i mean averaged 9.5 mpg). Definitely will use them again.

The RV we rented was perfect for visiting family during Christmas.
Rental procedure went smoothly and final cost was as expected.
The check engine light was on when we picked up the RV, were told it's okay to drive it, the RV drove without any issues and had plenty of power.
The smoke detector was missing and some of the outside hatch locks would not work.
Overall very satisfied and will rent from Cruise America again!
