What a gem! Cupples Cottages was a great place for our Anchorage stay. Check in was super easy. Robert provides a lot of information for ideas on what to do in and around Anchorage. We had an excellent stay. The space was very neat and clean upon arrival, you can tell that Robert cares about his property. It is a short walk into downtown where there is an endless number of places to eat and things to do or see. Check out was as easy as the check in. We would definitely stay here again.

This is such a great place. Amazing attention to detail and to the comfort of the guests. I would stay here again and again when visiting Anchorage. So clean and cozy. We stayed in a really not great hotel the night before we came here and it was such a relief to come to Cupples Cottages. Five stars for sure!

In 40+ years of traveling to Anchorage from our home in Kodiak for all manner of reasons, I have come to understand there is a (very) short list of possibilities that are:

A: clean, modern, well appointed, well equipped for longer stays, and centrally located.
B: affordably priced.
(Not to mention places that are managed by present, accountable, friendly owners.)
Cupples Cottages is on that short list, and number one on our list to call in ANC.

Nice little Airbnb. Location was great since it’s close to downtown. Only “bad” part if you want to call it that, is two houses next door are boarded up and homeless people were trying to break in. Little encampment across the street. Complementary washer and dryer was a pleasantly great surprise. Very clean, only con about this place is the airfield is next door(a few streets down). Super noisy. Heard every take off, fly over and landing. I live by an international airport back home and I’ve never heard airplanes be so loud. So just prepare yourself. Overall great little place.

I recommend this place for many reasons.
1) It is beautiful ❤️ (good taste, charming, cozy, elegant).
2) It is quiet and clean.
3) All the amenities work perfectly, even the cooking knifes are sharp and the kitchen has everything we need to cook our meals ?
4) Mattress is super comfortable ? ? we slept like babies!
5) Water pressure in the shower ? is excellent (and hot ?!!! which we really appreciate after skiing for hours)
6) The heating system works very well. They even have a nice electric fireplace to make the living room cozier and comfortable.
7) It is safe and has good size parking spaces!
8) Communication with host is prompt and professional.
9) But we can't be MORE THANKFUL TO ROB, the host, for making himself available to help us when we had an inconvenience with our car? and we were an hour away. We truly appreciate that. Not many hosts will take their time ⏲️ to help their tenants in that situation.

Thanks for making our stay in Alaska exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Nice little AirBNB close to Downtown, I was able to walk around and not fill uncomfortable. Definitely a great place if you need a spot for a few nights or even one.

Stayed here four nights in early July. On the edge of town, but a short 3/4 mile easy walk to the heart of downtown.

Cottage is spacious, clean, and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, dishes and most important to me, an electric tea pot. Modern decor, well-maintained, comfortable furniture, and ample table and seating options.

Black-out shade and curtains in the bedroom provides a good sleeping condition for the long summer daylights hours.

Bicycles available for rent are new or slightly used and at a very reasonable daily price. A great way to see the city or explore nearby trails.

Ample parking, well-maintained grounds, a BBQ grill, and outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas.

Owner was quite friendly, provided for easy check in, and was accessible throughout my staff.

Highly recommended!
