Bobby at Cycle Finish has saved a bike from going to the salvage yard. My old gas tank apart from looking bad on the outside was full of rust and sediment. I was lucky enough to find a NOS gas tank except it was the wrong color scheme.
I checked around locally for a paint shop to repaint the tank in the stock color scheme including the pin striping. No one would touch the job.
To make a long story short the newly painted tank looks and matches the stock color perfectly!!!

I was very fortunate to have Bobby apply his talent to flawlessly repairing the paint on my 1989 Ducati 851. His quiet confidence and quick observations were reassuring when we met, and I consigned my precious 851 to his care.

The backdrop to meeting Bobby was my terrible surprise receiving my 851 from an international shipper, who through their careless disinterest, had scarred the tank and every body panel. I had maintained in mint condition since I bought it new in 1989. So I was pretty stressed when I discover the shipping damage.

A big shout out to Bobby for his skill and patience returning my 851 to perfection. Pride in craftsmanship is a rarity these days. Bobby exemplify these traits. Thanks Bobby

After my motorcycle went down, my mechanic had the body parts—two plastic fenders and a metal fuel tank—sent down to Bobby for repainting. This was the second time Cycle Finish has completed paint work for me and I wouldn’t question about going back for my next repair or custom paint job. They do terrific, meticulous work with the prep, paint, finish, and color matching. We’re lucky to have this resource here within reach. Thanks!

I gave Bobby $200.00 cash down to pull 4 small dents out of my Honda gas tank, and primer only on Aug 6,2019,i have not received 1 phone call from him telling me whats going on with my tank i have called him a dozen times,e-mail, him that much also, and still no word what so ever.i hope he's man enough to call me,we'll see if he is, thanks Bobby
