Great experience! Came in looking for a small, random part. The staff was polite and friendly despite the fact I wasn’t buying a boat, or really anything that was actually expensive. They set me up with an account really quick too, and the whole process only took a few minutes. I was amazed they were able to find what I was looking for so quickly with the limited information I had. I’m sure I’ll be back too often!!

Closed with no warning. It'd be nice if their website or Facebook page mentioned this, or if they'd taken the time to update their hours for the holiday weekend on google. Super frustrating to drive all the way down from Eagle River just for them to have decided to give themselves a five day weekend during peak boating season.

Pretty unfortunate that these guys are the only Yamaha dealer in the area. I called to see about getting diagnostics done on two motors. The lady who answered the phone said “did you buy them here?” I said “I didn’t. They’re on a boat I’m looking at buying”. She responded with “well, we don’t have time to do that unless you bought them here” and then hung up on me. I called and asked a question about a motor and they said “go google it”. I called and asked for pricing on a a pair of motors and they again told me they didn’t have time to help me. Each time I called was a different person. Do they just find the rudest people in south central Alaska to work for them? I’m absolutely floored at the lack of customer service. I called around to other places and it sounds like this is a common theme for them. I will probably go with a Suzuki just so I don’t have to deal with this dealer in the future.

I've been dealing with Dewey's for many years and have had good service. We buy equipment through help of CVRF People Propel. I was looking forward to getting a Vmax 150 outboard motor. Your sales people need to inform us that in order to use People propel we have to have paid our share of the payment needed. I didn't know and missed out on the opportunity to purchase what I wanted.
