I’ve been a longtime customer at Dick Sherrer Marine for 10 years now. I repowered my boat with them and have had many service sessions over the years. The ownership switched last year, and I have been very pleased with the new ownership with Rafael and his team. They are very accommodating and offer fair pricing and great service.

Just recently, we had some issues with the Mercury SmartCraft system, and Scott, their lead mechanic, worked with me to help resolve the issue. He is a stand-up guy and very knowledgeable. They went the extra mile! It’s hard to find good mechanics these days, and I have NEVER been let down by Dick Sherrer Marine. I look forward to seeing them continue to perform excellent work under their new ownership as a long standing customer!

Great experience with the "new ownership" at Dick Sherrer Marine. Both Rafael and Carlos were friendly, informative, courteous, and efficient. Off-season (January) is the best time for work to be done! Engine wouldn't start, got the diagnostics with couple other items discovered as suggested fixes, was invited back to re-inspect and reassess. Picked and choose
Carburetor work and control box replacement on my 1998 20' Wellcraft, while skipping few other items. Work completed quickly. Upon pickup, the boat was sparkly clean! Got home, tried it out, smooth as silk! Haven't heard it run that smoothly in years! Very happy customer and looking forward to more good experiences with the new Dick Sherrer Marine!

Raphael and Carlos when beyond the call look beautiful put new brackets on the transom of my boat customer service was the best. They were honest fair and a great race I will be taking my boat back there for servicing.

They were never a 5 star service facility, but they always took care of customers and honored their work. I never had any bad experiences with them. New owner and customer service and quality are out the window. Just picked up my boat after 3 consecutive days of them bugging me to come get it. Right off the bat they are charging me more than they actually quoted me. It wasn't an estimate it was a quote. They said they had forgotten to charge me for something when they gave me the quote. They would not honor their pricing. After a little back and forth with Rafa, I figured I would let this one pass. They brought the boat out, Bimini was not secured like when I left the boat. Went into the boat and saw the mess of tie strap bits, a cut hose and lot of oil on my Gatorstep. They agreed to clean it and couldn't get it 100% clean. Seats had grease stains that would not come out and a portion of the seat was actually damaged. Now I'm looking it over with a fine tooth comb and realized there is a scratch on the front corner of the boat with the fiberglass shreds still there. All Rafa could say is "if you want we'll buffet out". After I told him to forget it, he said "don't come back". I had to laugh at him, as if anyone in their right mind would.
HORRIBLE WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Rafa has no idea how to run a business. It's a shame he's going to run it into the ground. Go at your own risk, you've been warned.

Took my boat in to repair a trim tab leak. The outboard was also having a hard start. I agreed with one of the owners to get everything fixed for 1,800. Including a full service. When I called to pick up the boat they told me it would cost $3,000! The added a massive amount of cost that I never approved. Basically they ripped me off!

Few years back spent $1600 and a 500 mile round trip to take my boat to this place only to get back in the water with the same issue along with new issues that they caused like not going into gear forward or reverse I never even called them back to let them know how bad their service was I figured its best not to waste more of my time. Overall, I am happy with the service here. LAURA was very helpful. I am relatively new to the boating scene and they take their time to explain things for you. Prices are not the cheapest as I found the same parts cheaper elsewhere but I will definitely do business with them again.
