Brand new motor 30 hours. Brought it in for a service issue. They didn’t even try to submit a warranty claim. Had to pay out of pocket. What’s the point in buying a new motor if they aren’t gonna warranty it when it breaks. I had to call Yamaha to file a dispute. Apparently this isn’t the first time they have done this. Might as well buy the parts and fix it yourself so you don’t have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to even look at it. Not to mention they never once told me all the parts they were fixing weren’t going to be worthy of submitting for warranty. Don’t go here

Just bought a new boat motor, they installed it on our boat had us fixed up and ready for the water at a very reasonable price. If I call with questions they are always ready to help. Wonderful friendly welcoming staff. I will recommend them to anyone.

It's location is great for me. Seems new.
It's a boat shop, they aren't focused on a quick convenient customer interaction.
In other words, you won't be in and out like chick filet in 5 minutes, but that's not what you are here for.
They have or can get it repair what you need.

Well they were great to "buy" a boat from, but now that repairs or needed from the August 2016 flooding, we have been waiting since October for work to begin. Today we were told

"Mr. Rickey, parts would have to come from dealer of that brand, your ins guy should be able to point you in right direction on that. Thanks Brent"

Five months to get that response for a boat I purchased from him? Not good.

Amazing Buying Experience

My wife and I have researched and shopped Bennington Pontoon Boats for approximately 10 months. We also looked at other brands and kept coming back to the Bennington. We visited numerous Bennington Dealers and decided Bennington was our choice. This will be my 4th boat purchase and I'm happy to say my best. We drove 6 hours from the Houston area to buy our new boat. This was after several emails and phone conversations with Johnny. We felt like he was a straight shooter and a man of his word. I have to say Johnny IS a straight shooter a man of his word and exceeded our buying experience. He even called during our long drive home to check an see how we were doing. Followed up with an email the next day.

We would highly recommend purchasing from Johnny and Dockside Marine.
