This was a great experience from the booking to dropping off. Everything was great the service was great and speedily. My trip was amazing I did have a scare with the brakes scrubbing, but I called it in and the attendant was willing to exchange the car out .. amazing customer service as well .. everything was wonderful I 100% recommend

I booked through Priceline, and chose dealers choice as it was the most cost efficient option. I was honestly was a little concerned afterwards once I read so many negative reviews. My flight was delayed a couple of hours and there was no staff at the Dollar counter when I got there as it had closed. There was a sign to go to Hertz counter for assistance. I was taken care of extremely well there. Fast, super friendly check out, and got a new 2024 Nissan Sentra. Returning it was no issue as well. Super fast, no issues at all! 10/10 will do again!

Worst experience happened last night, am on the urge to get a compact car for my work. The lady staff asked me to wait for 30minutes to get the car. SHE STATED we got the car in the parking lot for sure, but they are cleaning it and should be ready by 30 minutes. I said, ill wait and come back.. I went back again after 30 minutes and she said OMG I forgot to put a request for the car I don't have any right now but I can get you a MINI VAN and i said that's fine, after she doing the process and she is stating the price double for what I've actually book for. If you guys aren't satisfying customers you guys don't deserve to do business at the airport. Either change the staff or get out from the airport. Don't be looting customers time and money. TRY TO HIRE STAFF WHO DOES THE JOB.. I DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF THE STAFF BUT SHE IS A (black female) yesterday evening from 6:00pm - ........

I reserved a vehicle for 10am, and had to wait 3.5 hours for a vehicle. Dollar and Hertz all share the same pool of vehicles and there is no system to ensure that a vehicle will be ready when you need it. They claimed the vehicle was being cleaned and maintained and that's what was taking so long. This was a lie. In the trunk was a receipt for the previous renter, and the car was turned in 2.5 hours AFTER I reserved the car. Note the photo where it says 12:30pm turn in.

The situation is so bad that the Air War College in Montgomery emailed me ONE WEEK BEFOREHAND to let me know that vehicles WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE. The notoriety of Dollar Rental is spreading across the state of Alabama. Words fail.

My girl Star is AMAZING! She was the only person working not only the desk at Dollar rental but, also Hertz and she was effective and efficient! She was as polite as it can come and, she also persuaded us into renting something a little more nicer for our road trip! Usually, I rent with Enterprise but, Star has really convinced me that their rental company has some amazing cars as well as personnel! Definitely will be back!

Initial Review:
I had a long wait getting the car I reserved, but my frustration comes from the lack of customer service. A valuable and important item was left in the vehicle, but there is no way to speak with anyone so you can retrieve it. All they will tell you is to call the automated phone service which is impossible to get a person on the line and fill out a form online. I am willing to drive hours to retrieve the item, but they won't confirm whether they have it or it was stolen. If you have any options other than dollar to rent a vehicle, I would take it.

If I could give them no stars I would. I had missed 2 days of my trip because of horrible tires. They told me to call the roadside and I did that a million times with no response from a human. I had to spend my money getting a new tire put on and they wouldn’t refund me a dime back. They lie if they say they are sorry, because they are not. They looked into my case and said nobody made a report, when I returned, the girl took pics of my tire receipt. Oh but they said we hope to see you again. Very unprofessional, so go at your own risk with this company. I hope they don’t respond back with their lies that they are sorry!!! UGH

Arrived 30 minutes early to pick up a car at 5pm from Dollar a week ago. Although I was a bit confused by who to ask at first (only Hertz desk was open), Hilda was very helpful and was able to get me a car and out the door by 4:45pm. Dropoff a few days later was similarly smooth. Would happily rent from Hilda again!

Apologies but I need to update this review based on my most recent experience. Went to rent a car from Dollar on Monday. This time, I had to wait 2.5 hours to get a car, despite already having a reservation. Then, on returning the car, I was charged $20 for gas despite returning the car with more gas in it than when it was given to me (15/16ths of a tank). Very disappointed in this second experience with Dollar. Will not be renting from anyone other than Hilda at this location again.
