2nd year in a row of wrapping our surf boat for the winter. He was on time and a quality job done again, when i am sure every other last-minute fool like me is calling him.
Last year when I opened the boat after his service, she was so clean and ready for another summer. AJ was a referral to us and after 16 years of boat ownership he is the only guy to wrap our boat. Thanks AJ, you are welcome to surf anytime you want.

I took my boat to a shop four times for a check engine light issue. Each time I brought it in I was charged for work performed and each time I was told there was something different and that was the reason light was on. I lost over a month of prime summer usage and I’d lose my mind if I added up all of the bogus charges the 1st shop came up with. Yeah Reviewing I sent him a text earlier said he did finally come I called El Dorado Mobile Marine and they were the only shop that was willing to look at the check engine light on our Mastercraft. After massive frustration from the first shop, I had called three other places and nobody has the equipment to fix our Mastercraft. I called El Dorado Mobile Marine and they properly diagnosed the issue on the first visit. Not only that but the technician refused to bill me until I took the boat out and confirmed it was fixed 100%. Highly recommend. I will be using them exclusively now!

AJ has been my mechanic for years now! He fixed a huge issues with my motors after another (Ament Marine Service in Isleton) messed up my boat! That was my introduction to AJ... He also is my mechanic for my Baja as well.. If I need anything, from wiring, to head filters to engine rebuilds, I go to AJ... And of course I trust him with my vette as well.... Great mechanic!

I’m disappointed to have leave this review however the owner of this establishment has left me no choice. I’ve given El Dorado Mobile Marine multiple attempts to remedy a faulty repair they made on my 2018 Mastercraft Xstar, but they refuse to make it right after paying them $3899 for the faulty repair that still is not remedied. I unfortunately am going to have to take them to small claims court but I feel it’s my duty to share my experience so that other people stay away from this terrible shop.

If you want a reliable honest mechanic who is very affordable and knows his stuff look no further. AJ knows his stuff, it’s like the motor speaks to him in a language he only understands. I had AJ over and it was a great experience, he was quick knowledgeable and kind and provided excellent service. Very happy we found him and will go nowhere else

AJ has saved my day countless times, nothing but the upmost respect for him and his business. My 87 Bayliner started overheating and he met me in a timely manner and solved the issue. I don’t think I’ve met someone as knowledgeable as him when it comes to repair work. El Dorado Mobile Marine does honest work and he’s the only person that I would allow to work on my boat. Hard to find a good tech nowadays but if your looking for one in Northern California this is the guy.

Wow! This is the guy you want working on your boat. Honest, reliable, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. I took my boat to 2 other shops before El Dorado Mobile for rpm gauge malfunctioning or being inaccurate. The first guy didn't know how to fix it. The second was a professional shop in Loomis(Cals Marine), and they told me the tachometer needs to be replaced. AJ adjusted the pin setting on the tach and it fixed the issue.

Another problem was a cracked gear oil hose. Cals said because that's cracked I should replace all bellows and seals etc. a major job. AJ was able to replace the house without removing everything saving me tons of money because my belows and seals were still good.

He also did a 100 hour service in less than 4 hours which is fantastic.

I highly recommend this shop 🙌

First and foremost, couldn’t be happier with Eldorado Mobile Marine . Being a DIY guy, I couldn’t figure out my 2007 Mercury outboard’s issue. Paid other guys to come out and they wanted to take motor apart after 15 minutes. 6 months later I gave up and found Eldorado Mobile Marine. He came out and it was amazing to watch a master mechanic go step by step talking through the process and ruling out what was not the issues and after some time he was able to pin point the exact part that was causing my gas to flood into my cylinder’s getting into oil. I spent my money, time, my sanity, listening to other mechanics incompetence! It ended up being a $90 part and super easy to replace. Lesson learned, if you can’t figure it out in a day or two yourself, CALL AJ!. Thank you!!!!
