We had a fascia board, gutter and soffit detaching from a second story porch. Long story short, we worked on rental equipment as much as the house that day. I DO NOT recommend Southeastern Equipment Rental to anyone. Not only was the equipment dangerous, they knew it had problems when they rented it. We were stranded in the bucket for an hour. I downloaded the manual PDF file for the machine while I was up in the bucket and tried to troubleshoot the problem. I got a 9 flash ( system in distress) function code. According to the manual the machine needed immediate attention and maintenance. I called the office where I rented the machine and was transferred to a (River City Rentals techincian) he talked me through a machine reset and a "jiggle" of a switch to get power back up to the bucket controls. The tech said they had ordered the switch but it was in transit to their shop. They were aware of the issue but forgot to tell me .The machine required a hard reset every 20 or so minutes to make it operate properly. It turned my 8 hour day into a 12 hour day. I spoke to two different people there and they assured me they would make it right. I turned the machine in today before the deadline and (Josh) The front counter guy, informed me that since we still got our job done, we didn't get a refund or even an adjustment. " The rate is the rate" he didn't even flinch, he offered to give me the same machine for longer if I hadn't finished my work, but would not even entertain prorating my rental. I'm livid. If you have ever rented one of these, you know they are damned expensive and every minute counts.. Sub par equipment and zero customer service. Renter beware! My business will go elsewhere from now on.

I can't believe how great this team is. I can't say exactly what they done for me on here, but helped me above and beyond. Every one that I dealt with, Jake, Josh, Seth, and I believe his name was Jeremy. They have great prices and are extraordinary people. They helped me out tremendously. I will never rent a piece of equipment from anyone else except for Southeastern. And as soon as I'm done with this project I'm taking a couple packs of Ribeyes for the crew. I recommend this company and the people I mentioned specifically. I honestly cannot imagine anyone having a bad experience with them.

To rent a tractor was 325 a day. That's not bad but the delivery fee was 175 and pick up fee another 175. And that's insane.
