I need to share my recent experience with Factory MX, a place I used to trust until the ownership changed. About two months ago, I left my dirt bike and my friend's bike with them. Both had issues with the carburetor and jets, common for older YZ450 models from '07 and '08.

Unfortunately, my friend paid $350, thinking his bike was fixed in a month, but it still had problems. My bike was stuck in a cycle of promises that it would be ready soon, with little communication.

Suddenly, I found the shop empty, moving trucks and all. Brad, the new owner, told me both bikes were moved to another place in Saugus because of a rent increase. No one told me beforehand.

When I asked for my bikes and parts back, Brad said everything was boxed up. I set a deadline for the next day at noon, stressing the urgency. The next day, even though I was a bit late, Brad calmly said he needed until 5 pm, casually smoking a cigarette.

Threatening to involve the police didn't bother Brad. After waiting for a while, he finally contacted us and suggested meeting at his new place. Apologies were given, but after weeks of broken promises, unresolved issues, and finding out my bike hadn't been touched for two months, those apologies felt empty.

To make things worse, my new bike, with perfect grips, came back with damaged ones. Brad and the Factory MX team left me profoundly disappointed. I share this to caution others – think twice before trusting Factory MX with your business.

While riding in Rowher Flats, I broke my taillight and license plate off. I rolled into their shop an hour before closing. They were extremely generous with their time, parts and tools and helped me get street legal and sorted out. Very much a "riders" shop. These guys clearly have the communities well being at the core of what they do.

Best motorcycle shop I have ever dealt with. When my bike has an issue or simply needs routine maintenance, these guys can quickly diagnose and give accurate estimates about the work needed. Honesty and fairness is what you can expect when you come here. They also have a big selection of aftermarket parts and other things you may need when riding. All around professionalism!

Ryan and his crew know their stuff. Ryan has always been very helpful when I have questions even when I'm working on my own bike. Him and his crew are very trustworthy and it is very difficult to find a good shop like the one Ryan runs. I purchase all of my parts, accessories, fluids from their shop and will occasionally take them work when I'm unable to do it myself. If you're looking for a good shop, this is one. Let's help keep these guys in business to keep em around for a long time. Check em out, you wont regret it.
