Went into Georges for a motor. All the guys in the back were great. Very knowledgeable and got my service done timely. They called me and kept me updated. Their prices were also fair. However, The front desk lady, “Ms.E”, should be kept in a back office by herself. She is terrible with customer service. I called and asked for a service guy “A”. She says “why?, you can talk to me.” From that moment on I only called when “A” was in. She has zero idea how to work a computer which made things more difficult with banks. Other than her, Georges supplied a great mechanical service, with mediocre to low level customer service. 3/5

A former employee put a screw thru my hull while installing a float switch. Allen did a grate job on the repair. Then had problems with my courtesy lights took a while to get them fixed and had to call them to find my curtain inside console wasn't installed back . Just a lot of job follow thru that should have been done. Gavin lott

Bad customer service! I was speaking with George about a boat purchase and trade in. After speaking to him several times and sending all requested photos of my boat, he had SOME finance woman call my mom(who only filled out the credit app for us) and try to argue with us about what year OUR boat was & what a 3 year old boat was only worth! Despite what you see all over the inter for them. She was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to the customer!

We were still under negotiations for price of both boats and accessories I wanted to add to the new one so she had NO business calling.

Go over there is like begging for a service. Go somewhere else. They are unrespectfully people the owner and the old lady and they also want to you wait until the feel is time. FT… Except the guy who works there he is the one who knows the job. I recommend go to silver ships on bellingrath rd

No smiles. Phone ringing of the hook. Not service oriented. Needed parts for my Mercury outboard and only one person could help me. He was working on a boat and I could wait 30 minutes.Only three people there. Under staffed and uninformed. Not customer serviced oriented. Appears they just want to sell new boats.

Update: I was very disappointed with George’s after my recent boat purchase. After my complaints, I carried on and just vowed to never go back. I recently got mail indicating they have provided a extended warranty at no additional cost.
Very happy they are making it right.

My first(2005) boat purchase went great. Recently I bought a second boat(which I love). I did not haggle over price. They told me a price, that’s what I paid. They installed the wrong gps machine in my dash, even though the model number was written plainly on the bill of sale. Once the correct machine was installed in a hole cut for a different machine, it is ugly. I accepted it. 6 days after leaving with the boat, it almost slid off the trailer. I had to go thru the whole trailer and tighten every bolt and nut. Never once did anyone say “I am sorry for our mistake”. They just acted like it was my fault, or someone else’s besides them.
I’m happy with the boat. But I’m very disappointed in the experience with George’s watersports.

I’m not one to leave a review but I opened this account to hopefully guide someone in a good direction. I would strongly recommend you go somewhere else! The timing doesn’t matter when it comes to your schedule or situation but when it inconveniences this place it’s a different story. Customer service ?
