I recently retired and my wife and I had been talking about getting a Travel Trailer for the past two years. A neighbor of mine who had recently purchased their RV from Get Away RV recommended them to us. The quest for a trailer ended quickly when we met Craig and his outstanding staff at Get Away. Craig listed to our needs and we found a beautiful 2016 Black Rock that he had in on consignment. The trailer hit all the marks of what we were looking for in our first Travel Trailer so we put a deposit down and took possession just a little over a week later after securing a loan through our credit union.

Craig lended his years of experience to us with tips and the like to make our experience of camping in our trailer even better.

I had a 2017 Jayco Class C I wanted to sell so I took it in to have Craig and Mike handle that for me and never looked back. They were wonderful to work with. Before they started to market the rig we discussed a sale price based on current comps, they did some necessary maintenance that needed to be done, marketed and showed the rig, and sold it within 3 months. My wife and I needed some work repair work done on our camper before our trip.. We have dealt with other companies in the area and and were never very happy. So I saw Get Away R.V. in Templeton and said let's try them. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The repairs were very thorough. They showed us pictures and explained everything that they did. We recently purchased a trailer from Craig and couldn't be more pleased. He was a very low pressure salesman, which was greatly appreciated. He delivered the trailer to us after working hours. By the time he was finished setting it up, it was almost 8:00pm. He went above and beyond, even trimming a few tree limbs at the site! He showed us how everything works and made sure everything was in working order. Thank you Craig!

We picked up our MDC trailer on Thursday May 23, it was the best experience, from setting up the financing to trailer pick-up, Craig team was outstand at showing us how everything worked ( this was our first RV) they went the extra mile by labeled all the key 10 plus and all switch's. They are a small family owned RV center and the service show their dedication to service.

While setting up at Flying Flags in Avila we discovered none of our outlets would work. I sent a FB message to Craig Hanson the owner and he responded at 7:45am Monday morning! For an owner to respond is amazing and unheard of before the store even opens up. Craig gave me a few things to try and low and behold the problem was with the incoming power. We switched from the 50amp circuit to the 30 amp circuit and now everything works! Great service from a great dealership!! I wish I lived closer so I could utilize their service department, great service begins at the top.

We spent some time looking for the trailer we wanted and found it a Get Away RV and Marine in Templeton. The dealership was four hours away, so we had to handle the purchase via phone. It could not have gone better, thanks to Brandon. He answered our questions and texts during the week at all times of the day. Even the owner, Craig, took the time to speak to me. On pick-up day, Mike and Jen were fantastic to work with. The trailer was clean and ready. We had a trade-in and were given a fair price. The process was easy! Our trailer is excellent.
