Management appears to prioritize constant price increases and unnecessary fees, such as a $25 charge for not having a secondary payment method on file. After being a customer for three years, I’ve decided to store my boat elsewhere. Stay away!

Makes use of my Airstream possible at 93. It’s a no concerns storage and care facility. People are courteous and helpful. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Have been storing my boat at Gold Key for several years now. They have been responsive and consistent and always great to work with. They have performed minor repairs and do the regular maintainance needed, generally simplifying boat ownership. 5+ Stars!

Service is top notch. They are responsive and nice.
My only suggestions are:
1) It can be crowded on weekends, and it would be nice to have a larger drop off and pick up area.
2) Because weekends are so popular during the summer, I would prefer they find a way to be operating on Sunday. Maybe be closed on Mondays or Tuesdays, but it does create some inconveniences in having to work around their Sunday closure schedule.

(After 4 years, I’m changing my review). 12/23: I just received a 3rd (somewhat substantial) rate increase (almost $400 per month) and now pay more for storage than my boat payment! Unfortunately there are few or no other indoor storage options or I’d be out of there! I wouldn’t object to this as much if they were responsive to the needs of their clientele. Number one complaint is they are closed on Sunday/Monday (the busiest boat in/out day of the week!). The main issue with this is the crowded back lot when picking up or returning on Sundays. If you need your boat on Sunday, they pull it out on Saturday and leave it out until Tuesday. They allow 2 gaming trailers to block the maneuvering space which makes it nearly impossible to safely pull in or out.

(Initial review in 2019:) GoldKey Boat Storage is fantastic. The staff is friendly and always willing to help with any issues. I never worry about my boat being safe, secure, and maintaining that "garage kept" quality!

The staff at Gold Key are always friendly and helpful. Drop-off / pick-up is easy and secure. Most of our communication is via email. They quickly quote and complete any extra services I request. I especially like the convenience of their detail service. My boat looks brand new when I pick it up.

Let me start off saying Gold Key services and the staff are great. My lower score and note to tenants is to be aware of the annual contract. I sold my boat in January of 2022 but have been held to pay the entire year with no ability to make a reasonable agreement with mgmt and thus been paying all year while I have no boat. You can argue I should have read the contract but I felt good people work with each other but not the case here. Back in Jan 2011 we made a reasonable resolution when we sold our last boat and it had no “you must pay all year”. I guess management was different then. So my note is not to not recommend GK but be aware of the annual contract as they will not work with you.
