Did a click and collect on a product, got conformation e mail, drove 30 minutes to get there, only to be told goods not available, not happy, told they could order it in, not giving them the satisfaction

Having been in the motor trade the whole of my working life gsf was one of the motor factors we used on a regular basis.
Since retiring I still use them occasionally as I have always found them to be efficient, well stocked and helpful.
I recently called in to the central Bristol depot for some brake pads that they had in stocks but I was surprised to find that the item would be £8 more expensive as I had not ordered them on click and collect. I said I would order them now only to be told that it would be an half our wait before they were ready, at this point I instead ordered them from the Frome depot as I was heading that way and would avoid the wait. The part was waiting when I arrived and the purchase was very efficient. I would highly recommend this company even after this small annoyance. Moral to the story always order before collecting.

No-one at the counter when I got there, I had the ring the bell twice before anyone came to serve. Then when I asked for the products I needed the guy ignored the products that were on the shelf behind the counter and tried to sell me something else. Eventually we got to a point where I was happy but it wasn't the best experience.

Absolute poor show. Get all needed parts from this particular branch. Always call up with a reg number to see available parts needed. I was told in the most patronising manor to use a little thing called the internet and to go to their webpage. When I told him this is how I've been using GSF for years he put the phone down on me.
I drive out of my way to use GSF because I've always loved the service but after this I'll be sourcing my parts elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing staff who you can see the company do not value Andy is top class Ash quick on them systems. The ware house staff also amazing service from the lads. The drivers also do a great job helping out in the warehouse when under staffed everyone there dose asch as they can to run this place the company should value them better

What's not to like, so cheap too, if ordered online.
My first stop for motor requirements for sure.

1st time using GSF, I tried all over Bristol to get an Alternator drive belt for my wife's R56 Mini with no joy ! GSF had the part in stock at a very reasonable price, service was good, will definitely consider going back for more parts.
